   We visit Sunny Spice when we are in Lostwithiel area and each time have been wowed by the wonderful authentic tasting dishes and the charming couple who own and run the restaurant. Each dish was delicately spiced and there was a variety of choices to suit every palate! We hope to return to try their Christmas menu (needs pre-booking) The accompanying mango Lassi we had was the best we’ve ever had - homemade yoghurt spiced with cardamon ; a must try! Booking is recommended as Sunny Spice is very popular with locals .

   Absolutely wonderful South Indian food. Fantastic menu, especially for vegetarians. So many dishes to choose from which are not usually on offer at the average Indian restaurant, but make no bones, there is nothing average about the food here. Everything ordered was so full of wonderful spices and herbs, so much more flavourful than a typical Indian restaurant. Friendly service. A very small restaurant which looks like a cafe, but looks are deceptive here as the food is literally outstanding. My autistic son was persuaded by the extensive menu to try something he has never had before and really enjoyed it. We very much cannot recommend highly enough and only wish we lived locally to this restaurant as we’d be very much regular customers if we did.

   Oh my goodness absolutely amazing! We have lived in Cornwall for many years and eaten at a variety of Indian Restaurants, tonight’s meal was absolutely fabulous. We were here for our daughter’s 30th birthday, which we hadn’t told them about when we booked. We were made so very welcome from the minute we arrived. The food is incredible. The service is perfect. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is Gluten friendly. Thank you everyone for such a special evening. We can recommend this restaurant to everyone, whatever the occasion.

   Great little restaurant. Very intimate due to its size. Generous portions of fantastic food. The young lady who served us (very efficiently) lit up the room with her smile. We were lucky to get a table so would recommend booking in advance.

   Outstanding food and service - truly the best quality Indian food we’ve ever had. Everything, from the chutneys to the main dishes, is fresh and bursting with a zillion delicious flavours, and all served by utterly delightful people. Can’t recommend highly enough and will go to Lostwithiel again just to go here.
