Paid £85 for visit and he told me an extra part needs to be ordered. Didn't pick up my phone after. After seeing the below reviews I realised he is a conman. I wish I saw the reviews earlier..
Absolutely awful! After a 5 minute initial call which cost £85 Donovan claimed i needed new compressor. Fitted new compressor 4 days later costing £450 Inc labour. Had to call next day as fridge working but not freezer. He avoided my calls but eventually came back a week later stating I needed a valve which would cost another £150. I have decided to cut my losses and buy a new fridge. Plus fridge compartment stopped working 2 days later. Total rip off! Avoid like the plague!
I had booked an NAC repair for my Caple Oven. The engineer assigned the job was Donovan Webley from AllElectrix. He suggested that the light bulb needs replacing. I paid him £85 and confirmed with him that he would come later to replace the bulb. Later, he messaged that if he ordered the bulb there would be a 23% mark up whereas if I ordered it he would come and replace it. After that, I messaged him many times to show him the bulb I ordered and also messaged and called to ask him to come and replace the bulb. He didn't reply. Eventually I followed up through the NAC customer service after which the engineer replied and said he would visit on Saturday 16th Nov between 11am and 1pm. I was waiting (and had also changed my plans for this visit) however no one turned up. Now again there are no responses to my messages. So overall my time was wasted and I got no benefit out of this. Terrible experience. Won't be using again.
I would not recommend this guy at all, after three attempts to fix my fridge freezer, I have been left with a nonworking fridge freezer and the loss of £400. And he will not stand by his own warranty of three months on repair. Even though after the first attempt it only worked for two months and had the same problem again. If you really rely on your fridge freezer and have a big family do not use this one-man band, I went back fourth for almost 6 months. Also if your fridge needs to go the repair shop it will most likely come back damaged my fridge came back with scratches and dents all over the stainless steel doors. Also if it's a large fridge you will have to help him to get it out your house and in the van. I have been very patient and gave him the benefit of the doubt and believe he was trying to do a good job, but now I just been ripped off.
DO NOT USE THIS MAN. Came took my £40 call out fee and never contacted me again with quote to repair. NOT HONESY AND CERTAINLY NOT PROFESSIONAL. MY ADVICE FIND SOMEONE ELSE. If I could put no stars I would.
The guy showed up and took £40 callout fee for a 30 second diagnosis. He was supposed to follow up with details of the repair but never to be heard from again. Fraudster and thief. Never use this company!
He is very polite that's true and came at my home same day when my fridge freezer stopped working,but he is not professional electric engineer,because when he inspected my fridge freezer,just in 2 minutes he said u r fridge compressor gone need new compressor estimate repair cost 200£.i paid his call out charges 40£ and he is gone,next day i called another professional engineer and checked fridge compressor first and said compressor is alright just burnt compressor starting relay which cost 15£ and he fixed my fridge just in minutes.total repair cost 60£.
took money for alleged repairs, fridge failed after 12 hours - same fault again. when rang to let him know - got shouted at... to start with came out very quickly, "identified the fault" within 5 minutes, thought it was impressive! took callout charge. came back 2 days later with the part, fitted in within 10 mins, took repairs moneys and left. no receipt (promised to email but never happened) and when fridge failed again - was conveniently unavailable for couple of days. not hoping to get my money back and had to buy new fridge.
