   First time visit - prompt delivery but satay chicken inedible - either been standing and heated or just overcooked beyond recognition. Phoned and they explained a lot of customers want it 'more fried' - but this was just tough. Got cash refund for satay - but lady on the phone was not very friendly. Chicken wings presented in huge casing of batter and again overcooked. Not cheap and will not use again.

   No stars - nonprawns in wandering dragon despite advertised, called the take away and told chef said definitely their, absolute lies. No accountability and stated manager does not speak English so unlucky with the order, For reference I order 3/4 times a month and never complain, will never order again

   Great takeaway, was our first order tonight and will definitely be reordering. We had Singapore fried rice, chicken balls, lemon chicken, king prawn chow mein, salt and pepper chicken and also squid. All dishes very tasty and generous portions, and a fast delivery in only 25 minutes, thank you!

   On the 17/06 when I spoke to the lady on the telephone after placing my order online, she was very rude and shouted down the phone at me. This is not a way to run any customer service business - for that reason I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone, absolutely NO customer service skills AT ALL. Avoid at all costs, go somewhere that has better food and customer service because I can assure you this takeaway has neither good food or any resemblance of decent customer service!

   Honestly, microwave your own food. The salt and pepper tofu was like cardboard. Our whole order too 20 minutes from order to be delivered- which for good food I don’t understand. I rang to complain and was called a liar. Honestly, don’t bother here, there are plenty better places to go.

   The salt and pepper chips with onions are tasty. Their beansprouts looked like they had black mould. I had to pick almost all of them out of my meal. Never again! What a terrible shame as the meal was a treat from a family member. The other two had chicken rather than vegetable dishes so they didn’t have the rotten beansprout problem. I had vegetables and cashews. I would NEVER feed such rotten looking beansprouts to anyone.

   The food was really good from here great service and friendly staff I would recommend. I did order a lot for 1 person which was stupid of me to do as I couldn't eat it all. So I saved a meal for the next day and I reheated the fried rice which I shouldn't have as it made me ill. But that was my own fault. The food was lovely and I enjoyed every bit of it. Do not reheat the rice as it will make you ill and that will be your own doing and not theirs as. YES I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TAKE AWAY AND I WILL BE VISITING AGAIN the lamb curry, special fried rice. chicken satay skewers and egg fried rice with sweat and sour chicken balls so yeah I ordered way too much my for 1 person my own fault lol

   We ordered for collection and the food was quick (20 mins), hot and delicious! This is definitely our new favourite Chinese takeaway in West Bridgford. A member of our party is gluten free and hasn't been able to eat Chinese for a long time. The staff at The Oriental were incredibly knowledgeable and put her at ease about exactly what she could or couldn't order. She felt confident to eat and said it was delicious.

   We've tried quite a few positions from the menu so far and were very happy with the flavours and quality. Black bean sauce is my favourite and they didn't let me down with it! I ordered online recently for a specified time delivery and they were so punctual I couldn't believe. Came back from work and didn't even close the door and their car arrived. Everything fresh and tasty, nice flavours, we were very happy and are more than happy to order again!
