   I have just arrived home after a truly magnificent meal at Flory's. It was a new year's eve that will last in my memory for years. I had a special new years eve taster menu. Photo included below. Absolutely fantastic quality and presented so well. I feel sure this gem of a restaurant is going in the right direction to be awarded a Michelin star before to long. Many thanks to the owner and staff for a fantastic end to 2025 and the best beginning for 2026

   Will presented restaurant at the top of Bodmin central near the museum. Good service but small lunch portions and £7 for a tea. I expect more food on my plate for the price.

   Every time I come here I am blown away by the delicious food. We like to make our own 'tapas' selecting a few dishes and sharing between us so that we can sample a larger range of the menus when we visit. I have been here recently for both lunch and evening menus and can't rate the food, the service or the atmosphere highly enough! The evening menu we ate upstairs with glimmers of opulence on the middle floor and homely feel on top floor. lunch I've eaten in the red room at the front ground floor and the small courtyard which was beautifully sunny on the day and both offered a comfortable setting to enjoy their delicious food. You would not expect this restaurant to be in Bodmin! I can't recommend enough. Pictures from my lunch this week

   What can I say about this fabulous restaurant. Absolutely deserves a 5 star review! My husband and I visited for my birthday meal and were not disappointed. The staff are fantastic, so attentive, polite, helpful and kind. The atmosphere was exactly what we hoped it would be, welcoming and relaxing with music in the background and a small wood burner on tick over. Our three course meal was sublime, I had the calamari, duck and chocolate tart and everything was so well flavoured, cooked to perfection and tasted excellent. The finishing touch was a happy birthday chocolate on my dessert which was so thoughtful. Absolutely wonderful evening.

   Stumbled across this place quite late in the evening looking for somewhere to have dinner. They squeezed us in and the ambience of the restaurant was just lovely. The service by all waitresses and the owner was spot on. The food was perfect! You could tell a lot of pride has gone into this little place. I would definitely go back if in the area and highly recommend

   Food was amazing here! Came on a family holiday to Bodmin booked this place to eat, the food didn’t let us down at all, it tasted great, food portions were a great size and above all the staff were really friendly and welcoming! Would love to come again when I go back to Bodmin! There is great parking nearby which was free of charge and the little town was a great place to walk around after the meal.

   One of my most favourite restaurants ever!!!!! Sunday Roast was absolutely stunning!!!!!! Followed by orange posset which was beautiful. My husband had sticky toffee pudding which was also amazing. Hot! Full of flavour! Just stunning! If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out!

   Wonderful food, fantastic service. Everything was lovely. There was a great atmosphere, the music was placed perfectly so it wasn't too loud but offered a lovely ambience. We had prawns/croquettes, steak (which was cooked perfectly with yummy vegetables) and a cheeseboard to share. Some of the cheese we didn't enjoy but that's just our personal taste.

   We were quickly greeted at the door and promptly seated by a friendly server. Our meals were top notch, the atmosphere was simple and in keeping with the heritage of the building. Salad was a bit thin on ingredients but satisfying. The chicken avocado bacon sandwich hit the spot. No alcohol and no dessert, the meal for 2 cost 26 pounds. I would recommend this place.

   A wonderful breakfast with the best locally sourced ingredients. A must go place for an enjoyable taste of excellent food. We had a Cornish Breakfast with the delicious bacon & a Duck egg Florentine with spinach and mushrooms . A talented professional chef and all at the price you would pay for the ordinary. Can’t wait to go back to try the evening meal. Best wine list I have seen for many years.
