3 of us booked for a friends night out on Saturday evening and had a fantastic meal. We all had a cocktail, and chose the Lamb Rump which was really great - cooked perfectly! For dessert I had Crème Brûlée which is always a favourite for me, great portion size and tasted amazing. Food was exceptional, service was great!

Had a gorgeous afternoon tea for my mums 70th birthday. The staff were so warm & welcoming, with an added touch of a card & plate decorated to say happy birthday. Sometimes it’s the small things that make a big difference so thankyou! Our server, Tonya was lovely and nothing was too much trouble.

We went to Ego for our Wedding Anniversary and it was such a gorgeous night, the team were so lovely and our server, Nerrisa was fantastic. We started off being seated immediately and handed a card from the team as I had mentioned it was our Anniversary when I booked , what a lovely thought, so kind and considerate. We ate from the Saturday Supper Club and each course was so tasty, delivered promptly and such great value for money. I cannot recommend Ego enough , we will definitely be back and thank you for a lovely evening :-)

Received a warm welcome from a member of staff and shown to our table. The restaurant was busy for a lunchtime, but had a great atmosphere. We had 3 different menus to choice from, so something to keep everyone happy. The restaurant was well laid out with plenty of room between the tables. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Our order was taken and it was long before we received our food. Our meal was well presented and tasted delicious, just the correct serving size. Inside the building was clean, tidy and was decorated well. On the whole a great lunch and we would definitely return. Thank you to our server Tonya.

*Update* - Had lunch there again today. Really lovely experience, thanks to Tonya. We had the lamb rump, fish and chips and the sweetcorn fritters. Such friendly service! Absolutely recommend! Really great find, just outside Cannock on the A5. Awesome parking (lots of disabled parks and parks for people with kids). Very friendly staff, great menu, very clean and welcoming. More like a restaurant than a pub (in a good way) but has a really well stocked bar, which I'm sure you could enjoy sitting up there with a cocktail or two. Dog friendly, in a sectioned area (which is great for those of us with dogs and also for those not wanting to dine around dogs). Toilets were clean and presentable. The food was very good, we had the chicken supreme, the corn fritters and a steak. All were really excellent. The service is efficient and professional, we had Steph & Suzie looking after us. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I decided to visit for lunch after a very busy morning. I've been here a few times before but it was my husbands first time and definitely not his last. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much. Food was hot, tasty and presented very well. We're now happy owners of a new puppy and I didn't realise you could bring dogs to dine here. For us that's a big bonus. Our puppy is very much part of our family and to be able to dine with her when with our family is fantastic. Thank you ego. We attended on Thursday afternoon so to all the staff who were on including the very friendly manager. Thank you for a lovely last minute lunch experience.

We chose to visit here as it was somewhere we hadn't been before. From the moment we was greeted, the staff were lovely. The atmosphere was relaxed. Food was delicious and you could tell it was cooked fresh. Honestly wish we had been before. They do a lot of special offers during the week. Would advise booking in advance. Even for just two people.

Went for Father's Day lunch, very nice food. Staff great. Minor point that the menu was fixed and the number of vegetarian and vegan options were very limited. Chef did make something different which was good but be nice to see more options available like on the usual menu.

We had received good reports about this restaurant and we were looking forward to dining here. We came on a Tuesday which is steak night. Plenty of parking including disabled spaces. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Friendly staff seated us at a suitable table which we had booked as some of the tables are on a raised area and not wheelchair accessible. The venue is very pleasant with good quality furniture and fittings. There is an accessible toilet which was clean but the door lock was broken which was unfortunate. Our order was taken fairly promptly and there was a good selection to choose from on the menu. Our sharing starter came out fairly promptly with a plate of penne pasta we had ordered for the toddler in our group. The pasta came without sauce, was swimming in butter and fairly tasteless. It was then over an hour before the server came back and asked us if we were ready for our mains. Which we were! We then had a further wait before they arrived. 4 of the party ordered rump steaks and although they were cooked to our preference 2 of them were very tough and sinuous. The salmon dish ordered was pleasant but the salmon portion was a very slim finger and not as enjoyable as ones we regularly purchase from Aldi. No staff member came near us to ask if we were enjoying our meal and after we had finished no one cleared the table or asked if we would like a desert or further drinks. Eventually we had to ask for the bill. Overall a totally different experience to that we had the previous day at The Waterhouse in Barton.
