   Went in this morning for a breakfast and a sausage and tomato sandwich. The sandwich was served and it had been cut with a knife that had previously been used for cutting something with egg on. Cross contamination at its best, egg yolk all over the cut edge from the knife, good job im not allergic. My wife's breakfast was nice, but we won't be returning anytime soon.

   Called into Penny's on the off chance to just have a quick bite and was greeted by 2 ladies who were both pleasant and polite. I ordered the Black Country Breakfast & the wife ordered a sandwich and drink. Both were cooked fresh to order by one of the ladies while the other took the money for the order. As i didnt want Mushrooms on my breakfast the lady cooking asked what i would prefer instead - it seemed nothing could be too much trouble. When the food arrived it was piping hot, fresh and looked appealing. Sausages were not the normal cafe catering sausages but were from a butchers i was told after inquiring, the Bacon was perfect - very little fat and again cooked to my liking. The eggs were cooked to absolute perfection with nice runny yolks and firm whites - not like other local cafe's who's egg whites are like snot. My wife's sandwich looked tasty and served on fresh bread. The cup of tea was made strong - just how i had asked for it. Absolute perfection. Overall a great breakfast from this local place served by 2 ladies who had a joy for what they were doing. Great local cafe and very very good value!!

   There are bad buttys and there are Pennys cafe buttys. would rate them at the worst in area. after spitting the "sausage out i just binnedthe rest. this was after a near 30 minute wait with two customers seated. The propriatores should go to warstones cafe next to Blunts to see how it should be done..This is my first bad experience here as i always give a second chance .. regards Hungry man !!

   Ate here many times and always enjoyes it, but today's wasn't good! Got my order wrong when taking it, they couldn't work out correct price when trying to add on a service charge! Was made to feel uncomfortable after I went for a cigarette while I waited as it was taking a while and the door was slammed and I heard them say I haven't had a smoke in 3 hrs, the sauce seemed watered down, bland sausage and the bacon was like cardboard, very disappointing
