Great place to get a decent bit of food on a grab and go basis, or to sit in and savour. Worth a visit for sustenance.

  2. John Smyth ★★★★★

Lovely cafe, nice food. No public toilet but you can use the staffs one, if required

  3. Glenn ★★★★★

I got a sausage, egg & bacon on a soda bap, just unbelievable and served really hot. Coffee strong and nice. Service spot on, helpful & friendly. Also have a range of sweets but I didn't try it. Maybe next time. The only reason you would go to the Greggs up the road is if you didn't know The Pump House was here.

Very nice, professional, and polite staff, the cashier that took our order was accommodating and helpful with us. They only have a staff restroom but were kind enough to allow me to use it which was greatly appreciated! Bread was delicious and fresh!!!

Great sandwiches, they don't skimp on fillings. Lovely soup of the day. Tasty Tray Bakes

Unreal food for either on the go or sit in. Perfect place for lunch

£4.75 for a sandwich is laughable, chicken & bacon sandwich was filled to the brim with scallions which completely ruined the taste.

I have been going here frequently for the past couple of years, usually for a takeaway sandwich and the very "odd" tempting traybake.I must say that I have never been disappointed. The in-house traybakes, the German biscuits, tipsy cakes ,to name but a few are superb. I was in for lunch today 18/12/18 with two friends.Peter went for the bangers and mash with roasties,Seamus went for a toastie with side salad and I went for the Xmas fare which was wonderful.Three clean plates but I couldn't persuade either of them to treat me to the strawberry cheesecake,I feel that both of them might be getting a visit from the ghosts of Xmas past.
