Love this pub. Me & my grandaughter had light bites but it was so filling. Sat in the bar area there’s also a dining area. First visit but hopefully I’ll visit again soon
Came for a party and the staff and manger are a credit to the pub. Friendly, polite and couldn't do enough for you. Food was delicious and plenty of choice. Lovely pub with a great outdoors that my lad enjoyed away from the noise.
First time visiting Oscar's Inn. The staff were attentive. You ordered drinks and food at the bar. My pizza was delicious. Loads of cheese. We will definitely go back.
A Delightful Surprise with Great Ambience and Homely Flavours I had the pleasure of visiting this charming pub quite unexpectedly, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. The ambience was warm and inviting, complemented by a well-curated music playlist that set the perfect mood for the evening. We ordered the steak and the Kerala beef curry served with rice, pappadam, and chutney. As someone from Kerala, I was genuinely impressed by how closely the curry resembled the homestyle flavours I grew up with. While it wasn’t overly spicy, the taste was deeply comforting and familiar—very much like something my mother would make. The lemon pickle, in particular, stood out with its authenticity and brought back nostalgic memories. Overall, it was a lovely spot with great food, an atmosphere, and a surprising touch of home.
Perfect pizza and really friendly staff with a very cosy atmosphere and good selection of Ales. Highly recommend. Really dog friendly with a menu just for dogs.
We held our Christmas do at Oscar’s last night and we cannot fault it at all. Service was fantastic and my arrangements via email were all listened to and swiftly replied too. The food was gorgeous and they were quite happy for us to stay for drinks after we were done with our food. They even took in our secret Santa presents before hand! Everyone was saying how it was definitely one of the best Christmas do’s we’ve had for a while so I would definitively recommend and thanks to the efficient and friendly staff!
Amazing pizza's. Huge and tasty. Great location with good parking. Nothing for the kids and drinks are pricy but we go for the food. Nice clean interior and outdoor seating.
Great pub for couples and groups, six real ales with two of my favourites, Woodfords Wherry and Timothy Taylor Landlord. Great pizzas we had. Half goats cheese and green pesto and brie and steak, so large we finished for breakfast.
