   The Minerva has suffered from poor management in recent years, however it seems the new manager, H, is making a good go of it. Real ales on tap (very well kept), fast food ( only 3 stars because I haven’t tried it, but I’m told it’s good), the place is clean but in need of redecs but I’m sure that will come.

   terrible experience in this pub went there at 6:30 with my mate looking for a game of pool and a nice non alcoholic drink, manager approached us very threateningly, and as polite young lads we were ordered using horrible language to get out. this can be perceived in other ways but i believe that this could be due to racial prejudice as my good friend is coloured, there was a few young lads in there the same age as us (17) and we were removed and not them. overall we both felt threatened by the horrible manager.DO NOT VISIT HERE

   My friend had her daughters 18th birthday party here. Nice venue but I think it was a bit much to ask them to hoover the floor after personally at the end of the night. Surely that was a job for the cleaner in my personal opinion

   I really liked this place, it was cozy and the staff were very accommodating. A great friendly pub. I have only given 3 stars because 4 and 5 stars are for pubs that do great food too, and unfortunately they don't do food, this is not a criticism, just an observation. If you want somewhere to wind down after a busy day, this pub is ideal.

   Small Village Pub. Not been in here for quite a while. It could be described as cosy. No Car Park and limited space at road side. Landlord seemed decent enough and the Beer appeared to be well kept.
