   We’ve been here a few times , to a couple of ‘events / parties ‘ and also just in for food … The people there are great & always very welcoming , good food , it’s a nice lounge area with plenty of seating and never big queues at the bar. There’s a really wide choice of drinks to be fair and the pricing is good . Yeah we would definitely recommend it …. Give it a go , get out and about , try one of the nights they have entertainment on , it’s a nice night with a good atmosphere ..

   I have no idea why we have never been here before service was excellent all of the staff are lovely, prices are amazing and their chips are proper homemade chips none of that oven muck you find in all the other pubs. Absolutely fantastic and we will be back again to have a game of pool and to relax in the beer garden.

   The Homestead is in need of a bit of modernisation but it does well with what it and the location it's in (the no drugs warning sign as you walk in is the context here and this review is written within that context). The menu is basic pub food but ok and the bar has a weird thing where it's split between two rooms so the staff have to position themselves between the two rooms meaning that there's a bell you ring to get the attention of the bar stuff. It's kind of quirky but it works. I tried the scampi which was fine and what you'd expect in terms of standard, and the prices are reasonable. If the pub was modernised and the menu revitalised it could be a lot better but as it stands it's an ok pub serving the local community which is very much where it's focus is at.

   Our local. Our home from home. Fantastic, friendly atmosphere. Excellent entertainment. The service is second to none. I don’t think we’ve ever had a bad day/night at the pub. With the addition of AJ’s Bistro, and the amazing food on offer, The Homestead really does have it all.

   Had a fab night at the homestead. Rib eye steak was exceptional. The Stilton and mushroom sauce was soooo good. I was full but couldn’t resist the aero cheesecake. Bloomin marvellous. Fantastic service from the lovely Lisa and Rob behind the bar. We’re not local but was made welcome. Great to see a thriving family friendly pub doing well. Traditional, caring hospitality whether a regular customer or travelling through. Thoroughly recommend and will be back.

   Really nice people and very accommodating. Came down from North Wales to do my brothers party .Disturbed that people from main bar had access to our party .Sound bleed over from disco, and karaoke in the main bar was distracting for the guests .
