   We went tonight for their Christmas Fayre menu. Food was hot, plenty, almost took much. Staff were excellent, slightly chaotic at times as there was a mix up with what was ordered ( our fault). Handled brilliantly. Definitely recommend

   Sunday afternoon and the restaurant side was quiet, we were the only people eating. All of the high chairs were absolutely filthy and covered in dirt/cob webs , asked for the high chair to be cleaned but it was still dirty even after this. Womens toilets-only one toilet working. Black mould on windows, dirty floor in cubicle. Food was good but tasted warmed up rather than fresh. There was a drunk guy who is clearly a regular walking in and out the kitchen , could smell the alcohol on him and he was after food. Unsure if he worked there? Was swearing and basically being a nuisance but everyone knew him. This pub has so much potential but it needs a good deep clean and needs to be improved in the restaurant area. The fact it was completely dead on a Sunday afternoon in a restaurant speaks volumes. Waitress/bar staff were lovely and helpful and there is no issues there at all. I would seriously be looking at cleanliness and clientele , given the area it could be an amazing pub. But it depends what management want to prioritise.

   We visited the Seven Stars in Sedgley for the First time today for a meal out. Being Disabled I was pleasantly surprised to Find the the Disabled parking bays next to the ramp leading into the main entrance. Inside it was well laid out into several eating areas so we easily found a table then ordered our meal at the bar. We were served by a very nice young lady Laurie-Jo, We both ordered the fish and chips. Shortly after getting back to our seats the meal was served by a member of the kitchen staff he was very helpful and attentive. The meal was very well presented and cooked to perfection. While eating our food we noticed Laurie-Jo Thoroughly cleaning the empty tables thereby maintaining the pristine condition of the interior of the Seven Stars. Overall we enjoyed our meal and visit and can thoroughly Recommend the Seven Stars. We will visit again in the near future.

   Food is hot, tasty and lovely attention to detail. Even the salad was better than most! Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the pub had a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Waitress was pleasant and helpful. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a lunch so much and will be returning to try more of the menu.

   Absolutely shocking We where booked up at 14:00 on Christmas day and paid well in advance, turned up and was sat all was good then we heard three tables that where booked in at 13:00 hadn't even had starters yet. At 14:30 people are getting annoyed because they haven't had any food and then we are told the chef has walked out so we are getting no food, this was told to us by a woman who doesn't even work there, not the manager, he was hiding in the kitchen. The manager was an absolute joke, he wouldn't speak to anyone and left all the waitresses to deal with the aggravation from the customers, at this point he was hiding in his office, to be fair to the waitresses they where superb and couldn't do enough for the customers and couldn't apologize enough but there was nothing from him We got a free drink and a full refund but it has ruined our Christmas day as we came out hungry, not good at all.
