About 50 Grantham Town fans visited the pub yesterday. Great service, good atmosphere, good beer and cobs the size of your head. Thank you on behalf of our football club, you were great hosts.
I'm here, with the Grantham Town Fc away daze supporter's. It's a lovely friendly pub. With lots alovely atmosphere.
Went for the first time yesterday to see my sons band Lawman's Legacy. What a fantastic night the whole pub was up and dancing from the off, the locals were tremendous, very friendly the bar staff polite, courteous. Very quick service. I didn't have anything to eat but the freshly cut cobs on the bar were very tempting. The whole place was spotless including the toilets 5*
Visited with friend for a brewery tour which is short, very informative and included a test of 3x⅓pts of three main ales and a choice of cob. Guide was excellent. Reservation required for brewery tour otherwise none. Pub tour visits by coach a regular feature. Don't know if you have to book these with the pub.
The pull pork cob with stuffing was insane! Great local pub that has a very warm welcome by its staff with a big smile, beers kept well and plenty of choice for real ale drinkers and more. A very clean pub and the toilets smell good too!
The home of Black Country Ales All there pubs appear to have same philosophy which is really good & work well All appear to be well looked after looking as good as the day they opened them Excellent range of beers & well kept Prices are reasonable aswell as knowledgeable staff This is worth a visit to see the brewery especially the 1 room in original condition with equipment A must visit before progress means the Brewery has to move to keep up with sales
Had a funeral reception here. Friendly staff catered food was to a good standard. Nice cosy pub with good beer. Would recommend.

Nice drinking pub. Does amazing cobs (pork and stuffing especially recommended). Gets busy and very very loud on a Friday, but it is a typical traditional drinking pub environment. Good selection of beers, and always good quality. Staff very friendly.
Lovely old fashioned pub, unspoilt by progress. Service was excellent and efficient, even bearing Covid 19 in mind. Nice, simple, home made food at exceptionally reasonable prices! Just a pity I was driving on the day we visited, else I could have stayed a lot longer!
