First time visiting and everything was amazing! From the staff to the food. I had the big melt (burger), no complaints from me! Our server chloe was lovely! Very polite and kind. Place is lovely and tidy with tables cleared as quick as they can.

Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Generous portions and very tasty. Very friendly staff especially Keah. I would definitely recommend.

I paid Β£10 for this fish and chips and it wouldnβt even satisfy my 4-year-old son. The portion was tiny, the fish was extra small, and the oil it was fried in looked dirty. The chips and peas were also meagre. For the price, itβs simply not worth it. This is a shame, because pubs should be able to provide good, hearty meals, but this fell far short. I wouldnβt come back here again based on the food alone. For the same price I can go to a sizzler and enjoy generous portions of delicious Indian BBQ and curryβs that can actually satisfy a grown man. This may add to why so many people feel that British culture is in rapid decline, the commercialised pubs do not offer any kind of value for money anymore

I recently visited this place and overall had a pleasant experience. I ordered the fish and chips, and I have to say it was absolutely delicious. The batter was perfectly crispy without being greasy, and the fish inside was fresh and flaky. It came with a generous portion of chips that were golden and nicely seasoned. Definitely a dish Iβd come back for. I also tried the steak, which was unfortunately a bit of a letdown. It wasnβt terrible, but it wasnβt great either. The flavor was decent, but the texture was quite tough, making it a bit difficult to enjoy. It just didnβt have that tenderness youβd expect from a good steak. That being said, the service really stood out. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Their warm attitude definitely made up for some of the foodβs shortcomings.

Had a lovely meal, even though it was busy when I visited the food came out fairly quickly and the customer service was excellent from Beth and all the other staff. The food quality was great we had the Thursday offer which was a free starter or main with a super special meal. All of which was at a great standard. Would definitely recommend!

Pub is nice enough with good memorabilia from the sunbeam factory. Staff were great. My only issue was the food. Ordered a mix grill and asked for my steak to be medium rare. It wasn't. Just a grey chunk of over cooked fatty meat. I was waiting for our server to come over and ask if everything was OK. The visit never came. I was about to complain at the bar but then the lady on the next table fell ill and I called an ambulance. My partners chicken and waffles was dry as if it had been kept warm for ages. Kids meals were wolfed down with out any issue. Could have been more pasta served to be honest. By the end of my meal there was quite a bit that was not very good.

This was my first introduction to black pudding, which I ordered alongside the full English breakfast. It was delicious! Love the food and the relaxed atmosphere, as well as the nice view of the city outside. Staff was friendly and the whole place was cozy.

We found this place on route from the station into town. We were looking for somewhere to have breakfast and this place hit the right spot with a great selection of breakfast choices. Stacey and the other staff were friendly and helpful and the food came quickly. It has a relaxed atmosphere and had a great selection of music playing.
