   I found this lovely pub via the Real Ale app whilst passing the through the area. Four excellent cask beers and a good range of keg ales. Very friendly staff and customers, I will definitely visit next time I passing by.

   A micropub, serving a selection of not very varied real ales (pale or amber, around 4.5% ABV) I can understand why the locals rave about the place when their only other option is the none real ale Woodman, but disappointing for someone who has an interest in a wider range of ales. Not so bad to avoid if you're in the area, but not so good to go out of your way for.

   A fantastic cosy and welcoming atmosphere with a great variety of beers, ales, ciders and spirits to choose from. Ample seating inside and out in the garden. Kids were welcome until 8pm. There was live music from a very talented local singer songwriter and both staff and customers were extremely friendly. Will definitely visit again soon!
