Don’t like writing poor reviews but… Had food today specifically Cheese leek and potato pie. All pastry hardly any filling. Really very poor! I know these are bought in so not the staffs fault. Change your supplier! Saving grace the staff were great and lovely pre Christmas atmosphere. Also good beer!

Popped in Tuesday night for a drink and a bite to eat. It was so good we returned on Wednesday evening for more of the same. Nice beer. Great food and the staff were excellent. Thanks. No doubt we'll return next time we're in the area.

Met a friend here on Saturday, chose it as menu options looked really good and affordable. Was not disappointed! Food was excellent, staff were all lovely and there was absolutely nothing to fault! We have decided this will be our regular go to for all future meet ups.... excellent! have already recommended to family.

A lovely pub in Albrighton. Came here on a Sunday as a group of 7 (4 adults and 3 children) after a visit to RAF Cosford. Pre booked a table but don't think we needed to as it wasn't very busy. Had a nice pint of cruzcampo. Food and service was really good. A great choice on the menu. We had: Starters Mozzarella bites Mac and cheese with buttermilk chicken Prawn cocktail (my friend said it was the best Prawn cocktail shes ever had) Mains Lasagne x 2 Octoberfest platter special Hunters chicken Steak and ale pie Gammon 1 kids chicken nuggets Onion rings Chips Toilets nice and clean. Ample amounts of parking. A lovely pub, would recommend and would return.

I really like this pub. The staff are friendly and the food is usually very good. I believe the menu is getting a change and as such resulted in a not perfect order. However once again the great staff sorted everything out as best they could and a fine night was had by the group.

I base this on 2 separate occasions. Went with 2 children at about 4pm, i got told chef was on a break at would return at 5. Ended up being more like 530, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Next time attended at 5.15pm only to be told the same story again and would have to wait an hour. With children crying i had to take them to a more reliable pub. I always wondered why a nice looking pub in the centre on the village never has any customers, this goes someway to explain. I will not be giving them a 3rd chance to mug me off

Table of 20, pre-booked, pre ordered arrived at 7:20, food arrived around 8:30-9:30, waited until 10:10 for desserts. Mains & Starters: Food tasted good but the portion was way too small and the price was definitely not worth it. Desserts: completely plain, presentation wise was completely average, overpriced again (just look at the scoop of the ice cream) Service: Forgot two of us' mains they had to wait an extra hour due to miscommunication from the staff Overall: Too expensive to eat out, might be different for drinks

The Crown was brilliant as usual. We had beer and food again! :-) STOP PRESS Visited again 22/10/22, excellent as usual but I'd like to draw your attention to the pie! Yes, a proper pie, not a dish with a flap of pastry on top!

I have been drinking in the crown for the last 10 years and over the last 5 years have watched it decline losing customers due to the state of the beer and food and the hygiene of the place . But in the last few months all the negatives have been turned round by the new management beer tastes fresh food that's really tasty and last of all the pub is clean again. I really do hope everyone starts to come back and give the new management a chance. Keep up the good work guys
