The pub was very busy but staff engagement remained good and our meals were brought to table in a reasonable time. Other diners appeared to get their meals ok, could not hear any complaints being made. Meal quality was good. I had gammon and it was tasty and tender, chips were swapped for potatoes with no issues. Nice food and really good prices. The service was fantastic; we had a bit of a wait for drinks ordered through the app but the bar was busy so that's fair. We are a family of four with diverse tastes in food and everyone was accommodated and happy!

Staff absolutely run off their feet today but can’t fault the place at all. Food and service were wonderful to say how busy they were! More staff needed in my opinion to reduce the pressure on these fabulous people. Will definitely visit again.

It wasn't very busy when we went, so we got served quickly, we enjoyed our lunch. (I had a fish finger sandwich and french fries).

Absolutely fantastic experience! AS ALWAYS! Cant fault this place at all! We tried the kebab and chips from the new menu, and it was nothing short of sublime—perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and so satisfying. We also had the steak and a fresh salad, both of which were equally impressive. The food arrived hot, fresh, and delicious, with every bite packed with quality and taste. Excellent service and a great atmosphere too. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back!

My partner and I visited the pub tonight for our Friday night our. The staff were very friendly as we walked in. We had food which was excellent, piping hot and came out quickly. Will definitely going to be revisited the pub again.

The pub itself where you sit was lovely and clean. Staff were friendly and food came out timely and hot. Food was tasty and cooked well. I had a steak and i asked for it medium cooked and it came out medium which never usually happens when I go for it meal it is usually over cooked. My partner had the lasagne and mentioned how nice it was. Was a nice atmosphere and a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. The food was also at a decent price average pub grub price. I would of put down the name of the gentleman that served us but I didn't catch his name! He had long brown hair was very polite. Overall very nice experience and would return again if in the area. The only thing I would say that let it down was the toilets as they were broken and seats not on one of them.

The food was all reheated in microwaves even the burgers. The lettuce was horrible on the burger and the sauce had a skin on it. The chips were hot and Fried, the battered fish was overcooked and the chicken nuggets were as hard as nails. The peas were also hard. I wouldn't go back to eat. I would go for a drink and to play on the pool table.

Children running in and out the fire escape doors leaving the doors wide open on a cold day. Having to constantly close the doors to stop draft and other customers also having to do this. The meal of cod and chips was sent back. The cod was no bigger than my finger and the rest was burnt batter. Embarrassing for any establishment to serve. I'm still waiting on my refund to be reimbursed on my card. One of the worst places I have been to eat in a long time.
