A group of us went for New Year's Eve and were very pleased with our whole experience. Great food, served quickly, brilliant atmosphere with the DJ playing a great mix of old and new tunes and attentive service from all the staff. Thanks to everyone involved for giving us a great night.
Food tasted really nice and was well presented. The service was excellent. The tables could have just been a bit more dressed with a tablecloth and maybe a candle but overall I was pleased I had booked.
Went along for food and YAM YAM Elvis. The staff were happy and attentive we were made to feel very welcome. The food was fab. Another Elvis to add to my collection. Thank you to the Forge team for a great night!
Came here for the Christmas menu food and it was very underwhelming. The food is very basic. The place is kept clean and the staff were nice but let down by the food. The pate starter was very nice but the festive Mac and cheese was a huge letdown. Lacked cheese in the Mac and cheese or that it had it but you couldn't taste it as the cheese used must be very grade. Dessert was nothing special either very stodgy. Overall I would not come back for the food but the beer was good.
Well although a little expensive the food was decent, and was very filling. Service was okay and waiting times were not too bad at all, would I return simple answer yes I would, so thank you.
We organised to use the pub for my nieces baby shower, due to not being from the area I didn't really know what the pub was like at all. From the minute we got there, the team were so friendly and welcoming. The pub itself is decorated lovely and the garden area is beautiful. It has a great relaxed feel to the place. We were able to take over an area of the pub just for ourselves, and we were able to decorate and move tables etc. Round to make it our own. Really impressed and although I didn't. Have the food, it looked lovely! A massive thank you to the team for being so accommodating.
Yes I can't really criticise this place, there are plenty of vegan food options on the clear and easy to understand menu, and a brilliant outdoor seating area which also has a child friendly play park, plenty of parking spaces in a quiet area with top quality staff ready to help.
Absolutely fantastic food on Father’s Day. A surprise for me and we could not find fault at all with anything. The service was exceptional and Mandy and Sammy were so friendly and efficient. Our first time on a Sunday but we have been a few times in the week. Highly recommend this pub, the location, the food and all the staff. 10/10
