I was in the hospital and ordered soup, and what they sent was disgusting. The soup was clearly old and smelled bad — completely inedible. When you’re sick and relying on food delivery, this is unacceptable. Extremely disappointed and will never order from here again
Among the best falafel I've ever eaten (ordered the Palestinian platter). Crispy on the outside and great herbs/seasoning. The exact opposite of the dry and sandy falafel many places sell. Bread, pickles, tahini sauce and lentil soup also very good quality. 10/10
We only had vegetarian dishes. Iraqi falafel was fresh and fluffy. Manaeesh, halloumi fries and foul medames were so delicious. We opted for spinach sambousak but was a bit sour, I would go for cheese next time.
Absolutely disgusting, doesn't even resemble falafel. soaking wet wrap, 2 large chunks of uncooked raw falafel, a complete disgusting un-edible mess as shown in photos, you do not pride yourselves on anything, both orders were disgusting, un-edible, no one answered our calls to raise issues. Don't lie to me with that lame response to my review, take responsibility. Anyone i know that has used you guys will not go back there as they all same the same thing, terrible quality and service and if you complain, you guys will argue. As shown with this response.
My colleagues promised this would be a good falafel place for a leaving do, and they were right! Really enjoyed the food, and it was sunny enough to sit outside with a wonderful view. Can't wait to try some of the other variations!
Great location Big upstairs sitting area Strict no alcohol policy Lovely staff Food - not sure even where to start... For a place that specialises in Falafels I'm really surprised what I received... Cold, soft and soggy Falafels in a wrap with few pickled veggies. At such a establishment you would expect Falafels to be freshly fried, to have that a lovely crunch - something very important that makes falafel a falafel and not a cold squishy plop. I think you can get better falafel in a supermarket than there. It had no texture, no crunch, no flavours. I'm not sure who designed the wrap and thought it will be good idea to add some unidentified yellow sauce which I suspect to be some sort of diluted mustard mixed with tahini and water? We went there in a lunch time which wasn't busy at all, just one more customer apart us so can't justify poorly made falafel wraps. Pizza and chips were lovely, pizza slightly burnt at the bottom. I rate their falafel wrap 1 star only because there is no option to make it a ZERO It is not worth the money and unless they assure you to fry fresh falafel don't bother getting those. EDIT: Im not sure how to reply to the owner post so will do it here and hopefully you can see it. We were served today Saturday 3rd December by 2 very lovely ladies, I can't fault their service quality. It's just the falalel had questionable texture. I love falalels and often make our own from scratch at home. The main characteristic of a falafel is that lovely crunchy coating which unfortunately was missing in our dishes today. It was definitely not freshly fried and I say this based on my own cooking experience. Unfortunately we were travelling and stopped at Nottingham on the way home so won't have opportunity to come back and try it again to compare if it was a one off situation. I have been to restaurants like this all over Europe, and little did I know the top contender is in my home town! The staff were so friendly, I had the Iraqi falafel & fries with a cardamom tea. Every flavour, texture and smell was 10/10. 100% will be sending everyone this way from now on.
It was my first time here, it's right on the street but never noticed it .There used to be a subway earlier. Falafels are my new favorite so I was happy to find this place. Not a great interior or anything, very very casual, mostly I saw students visiting.customer service alright, not bad not great- which is good for me.Ordered falafels and hummus, bread was complimentary. Really tasty hummus and falafel's size was good.I will definitely go again...
