How on earth you can even charge £8.50 for such muck is beyond me - ordered what was supposed to be sweet & sour chicken - pale bits of chicken in a tasteless watery sause with a few bits of pineapple and peppers. Not even the food out on show at the counter, served by a bored teen. I hope I dont get food poisening.

Brendan served me at Chow at Exeter service's. Duck spring rolls were excellent! Highly recommended!!

A great idea and alternative to the monotonous glutinous beige on offer in service stations, HOWEVER, it’s not great when your husband gets food poisoning from his Katsu Chicken & noodles. I have food allergies - hats off to this place for handing me a binder of allergen info without any problems. I was able to have the Veg Red Curry & Rice. It’s was quite tasty and piping hot. I don’t have any issues with mine. Don’t expect a smile or any interaction when being served. The staff clearly hate their jobs and it shows.

Katsu curry tasted more like chip shop curry, ran out of chicken before dinner rush, spring rolls just about passable. Very expensive for what you get.

Went in with a good size order (11 mains plus 4 sides). The staff although stretched were polite and courteous. Order was accurate and hot, what more can you ask for...

Typical exeter food cheap nasty ingredients and over priced. Large katsu curry with noodles. £9. Not as nice as it used to be. Instead of chicken breast they now use chicken thigh. Katsu curry- instead of being really tasty and nice now just tastes of salty chicken stock. Pathetic. So frustrated with Exeter everything is so overpriced. Still, it was nice enough to eat and my cat liked the chicken.

I have been here around June time as I was on my way to England from Wales. The lady was very nice and very helpful and the food was very affordable. I liked how big the portions were and the variety of toppings for the noodles. Anyone could find something that they like without a problem. My only complaint is that it is a bit out of the way and hard to find. I would love this restaurant to be somewhere more accessible as it is genuinely a really nice place.

Tasty food and much better than your usual service station selection. Only downside is the price which is admittedly a little steep. If the meals were £1-2 cheaper then this would get the coveted 5 star rating but until then this is still a good option for food if you're stopping over here. Check it out!
