Absolutely amazing! My 4 year old has been nervous about having his hair cut and ive struggled to find somewhere that can manage his curly hair. Emily did an amazing job and my son is asking if he can go back. Highly recommend

Could not recommend this service more highly. My little boy is usually very difficult when getting his hair cut. Lindsay was phenomenal, incredibly patient and allowed my little boy to have his hair cut in a way that made him feel comfortable and safe - no rushing at all and for the first time he enjoyed the experience. Will definitely be coming back to Lindsay for his next hair cut!

Absolutely bloody brilliant! We travelled here from Stoke on Trent due to the glowing reviews and a bad experience we have had with a barber around our area that convinced us to seek out a kids only hairdresser. Our 2 and a half year old is murder for not being able to keep still. the lady who cut his hair did an absolutely fantastic job of keeping him entertained whilst cutting it. She did a great job and gave us exactly the hair cut we wanted and she was asking us constantly how much we wanted cutting off specific parts. We said a few times we wanted it shorter in places that she had already cut and she was bloody brilliant about it. Not once did she get upset or frustrated despite our sons constant bobbing around and our requests on shortening. This was altogether a very, very comfortable and pleasant experience for ourselves and our son. Prices are brilliant too. £11 it cost us for our son, which I think is great value for money for the fantastic job she did. Honestly if you're thinking of taking your child to a children's only hairdressers look no further than Ellis and wren. Despite the 45 minute drive to get here this will be the place we go to get our sons hair cut from now on. Thank you very much ladies for a fantastic experience for me, my partner and my son.
Our son had his first haircut by Emily. She was so friendly,kind and professional. Our son loved the toys, car seats and the wallpaper of animals. My wife also got a nice haircut, overall very good services and recommended.
Went for our sons 1st haircut. Staff were really good with him, and clearly remembered all of their other customers that were there when we were. Was very busy when we arrived but it was Saturday afternoon so understandable. A nice certificate given and small piece of the first cut in a keepsake tub was given too. Reasons for not giving 5 stars, parking is not great, shop itself could be bigger or could book slightly less appointments per hour so it's not rammed, and there is a foul smell of rotting fish/meat outside which I know is out of their control but did waft in everytime the door opened. Overall really good but could have bigger premisis/ less appointments. Would be willing to pay a slightly higher price if this were the case I think.
I went here in December for my little boys first hair cut. The lady was patient and so calming with him. We got a certificate and tiny rub of hair and a chocolate coin. It's definitely worth going for a first cut!
Truly unbelievable! Our toddler has a very bad anxiety when it comes to haircuts, and our baby has anxiety when it comes to new places and people. I did show photos of this place to my toddler, talking about the cars to sit in and toys to play with, and he got excited to give it a try. We got him settled straight away with the toys and sit on bike and the girls being so friendly and calm. You could tell he was a bit anxious during the cut but not a single word to stop or asking to leave and no crying at all! We even managed to have his little brother's hair cut in the same time, then again with no crying. Amazing place, superb job from the girls. Almost an hour drive for us but so worth it, definitely will be back for their next haircut.
