Disappointed. I place an online order to click and collect. I had to go and also make a cash purchase of other items so while I was there I asked about my order. They hadn't received it. I placed the order before 7am and by 10am they still hadn't received it. I should have just chanced it and picked it from the shelf myself. I also needed trunking bits for connecting the strips only to find their stock all in different boxes. I had to rummage through the boxes to find the bits I needed. Obviously their stock taking is questionable. Do not rely on what their website says. Just go and chance it will be on the shelf and pay cash on collection. I don't normally leave reviews.

Terrible service, Terrible attitude. I went to the wood cutting counter this afternoon and there were several people in front of me. I waited 10 minutes and no one came to serve us. One of the other customers came back and said he is on his 15 minutes break. I waited another 10 mins and still no one came and the customer in front of me told me they had been waiting 30 minutes before I arrived. I left the wood and went in search of a supervisor. Eventually I found a lady sitting behind a desk talking down to someone on the phone. When the call ended she asked me what I wanted. I explained the situation and she then said here he is and pointed to a young man she then said he has other things to do and customers to attend to so I asked why, shouldn't he be at the wood counter. She said he is paid to do what ever he is asked to do and I said but there is a queue at the wood counter and she replied well he is busy doing other things. I left the shop discusted. Really B & Q if you are going to keep people waiting, put up a notice and provide chairs. I am 66. With a walking stick. And if he is busy doing other things, provide a bell so at least he knows you are waiting. Leaving customers unattended and without any information is just not good enough. You even had the cheek to announce your wonderful wood cutting service over the load speaker while we were waiting. Not very organised and a terrible attitude, especially as she could see I am disabled.

Went to B&Q Bilston twice recently to ask about MDF cutting. Both times different staff told me they βdonβt do it anymoreβ in a dismissive way. I believed them and ended up buying four packs of ready-made panelling kits instead β costing me around Β£80 more than if Iβd just bought MDF and had it cut. I raised a complaint to head office and honestly it felt like I got a copy-and-paste, AI-generated response. No real sign theyβd looked into who the unhelpful staff were, no offer of a goodwill gesture, and no genuine concern about the extra cost Iβd been put out of pocket. Very poor service and even poorer complaint handling.

I've been shopping here for years. I've never been impressed with the team at this branch. But Rani has turned me around. She was so helpful and professional. Service with a smile. Thank you Rani.

Good selection of tool, DIY items and staff usually very friendly. Although sometimes staff seem more distracted rather than focused on the customer; asked the guy who cuts wood to cut some to size but seemed he had somewhere more important to go. Some of the outdoor plants had also died (although in fairness possibly due to cold weather at time).

I've heard of companies putting up Xmas decorations early, but taking them down early is a new one. What's happened to the amazing grotto? My kid's loved it. Really friendly and helpful staff though.

Went to price up Decking and other items for the rear garden.. Good choice of products and the staff were helpful and knowledgeable... Moreover they also told me about their delivery service for the large and bulky items as I do not have a car at the moment and was a little concerned about getting them all in my friends new car. Only down side for me is if I need to get there on public transport due to the distance between the store and Bilston Bus Station. Overall though a good and productive day!
