   So pleased that I went to this lady. I had a silk christening gown, made in 1915 by my gran, and it has been worn by family babies ever since. Sadly, it was starting to come adrift under the arms and in various places and I wasn't sure it could be repaired but she did an absolutely amazing job and hopefully, it will continue to be used for future family christenings. She put so much care into it, I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you.

   I had my wedding dress altered by a different seamstress and it didn't feel right and when I tried it on again a week before the wedding it kept falling down. I was in a massive panic so I took it to Pat who saw me immediately and noticed straight away it needed 3 inches taken in at the waist! She worked overnight to fix it and kept reassuring me it would all be fine. It fit perfectly once she was done with it and stayed up all night, no tugging at it needed at all! Would not hesitate to recommend.

   I took my bridesmaid's dress for my sister's wedding to be altered as it was too long and hanged low from the shoulders. This is what I got back, it was bulky on the shoulders, you can see that the fabric had not been cut off so it bulged and the corner stuck out. I had to take it to another place last minute to make the alterations again but properly. The lady is friendly but I was expecting a different quality on the dress alteration.

   I can't praise Pat and the other staff enough. My daughter needed some very last minute alterations on her prom dress which was damaged and needed altering. Pat did an incredible job, the staff were so lovely. We will never forget this ladies kindness x
