Staff are incredibly rude. Shelfs are empty, toilet broken and if id of wanted to have been looked up and down id of gone to harrods. Shocking

I went with my daughter to the Grantham store today. My daughter needed to exchange a top. We were approached by a assistant who went to great lengths to assist us. I only wish that I got the individuals name. She was so helpful and very kind. I've looked on my receipt to see if her name appeared on that. We attended the store at 18.55pm it was till 5. I would just like to send our thanks to the lady whom we felt went far and beyond to assist us.
Absolutely superb service. I lost my receipt and then found it. In the mean time I'd exchanged the items and was given a refund card. The manager and staff couldn't have been more friendly and professional sorting the matter. Really impressive. Thanks

Love shopping at matalan but what I don't like is being asked to go to the self service for checking out , I go along with a few customers that was in the the queue. I had many items today and had a 15% off voucher, the staff had trouble with it at the till so what chance would I of had. If it came to it that I had to use it then I would of left the shop buying nothing and shopped elsewhere.
Easy to find what I wanted and a good selection also, so much so I ended up getting 2 pairs. Staff were polite and I didn't have to wait to be served.
I always find the staff in this store helpful and polite. Their changing room for the disabled is spacious. As regards your membership card, if you have forgotten it, they will look up your membership for you.
The cashier LIED to me stating that I had to have a membership card to buy from the store. then finally after pressing the issue retracted her lie and said she was just trying to get people to become members. Absolutely disgusting tactic. trying to shove a membership card down my throat. IF i wanted a membership i would ask for one. She had a disgraceful attitude.
