If I could give half a star then i would, where can I start from being told to use the toilet in the Aldi store as looking for disabled toilets to be told there are none and that was from one of the cafe but I wouldn't get my wheelchair in the door my wife had to stand behind me whilst trying to use the toilet with the door open as I needed to go.The staff of Chaplins there was one lady who was very apologetic and kept repeating when she saw me around the store. One of the staff who then went on to tell me again whilst trying to navigate around the store in an electric wheelchair with my service dog was a nightmare the shop isles are very thin and hard to navigate there was no many staff around to ask for help when needed. On leaving the store the lady at till said when notifying the bosses about floor issues nothing gets done. A very poor experience would not go back and not recommend.

So I have visited this place on a number of occasions over the past few years and it always seems great. One lady recently (don't know her name, sorry) helped me find O'rings which I needed and after showing her a photo of what they looked like, took me straight to them - many thanks. One small thing, there is an older gentleman who is regularly on the tills, can come across as stressed/grumpy or just not very friendly on occasions, but generally a great place to find everything you might need at a reasonable price. Free parking and a decent garden centre too.

I love Chaplins. They have everything one could possible need in your home, apart from a kitchen sink, at a very reasonable price. Even more cost effective are their wonderful array of seasonal plants in the plant centre (it is here that draws me to Chaplins). Apart from the tea and cake in the cafe of course.

Love this shop. It is not glamorous, but it has its own charm. Tucked away in Plymstock near Lord Louis restaurant, it has absolutely anything that you might need for your home. We always end up more than we planned, so if you are shopaholic, here is your paradise. Garden centre with a big range of products will give you buzz if you have green fingers. Enjoy.

Brilliant helpful staff in the wool section, Val was a pure delight, helped me pick out wool for a jumper, suggested I get a over 60s discount card for Tuesdays and Thursdays. Really great service, I'll wear the jumper when finished to show her.
