My husband and I visited Play tropolis for the first time with our two children today for the train and Santa event. We had a wonderful time. My children absolutely loved it! Plenty to do in each section and Santa was great and spent time with each child. They were serving him hot chocolate in the cafe and cutting his beard in the hairdressers. Lovely memories to cherish. Fantastic! I booked last minute and so glad I did. Will be returning again soon. Thank you

Came for a visit with the mothers from school. Arrived receptionist was not friendly (reminded me of my uni days when those central London nightclub host, who would stand outside the clubs with a clipboard asking if your names on the list) however I’ve encountered her before and that seems like her vibe, which is ok because my daughter enjoys these sort of play centres so I’m happy if she’s happy. The place was freezing, I had to keep my heavy coat on the whole time also had a hot drink in a flask however could just not shake how cold it was in there. My daughter was having a nice time when the receptionist came over to say they had a complaint about the children in our group running around and there was a few toddlers in the play area. We spoke to the children, ask them to calm down and be mindful of the toddlers. We continued our conversation and then the lady from behind the counter came over and said they received another complaint from the same woman at this point we was confused because this is a children’s play area and they was just having fun however we spoke to the children again. Then shortly after one of the children came over very upset that one of the women had shouted at them. The child’s mother went over to speak to them as to why she was shouting at the children in our group. The woman became from hostile and shouting telling one of the ladies in our group to shut up. I feel like the moment we walked in she just had a problem with us as a group of black and Asian ladies the looks she gave us, which is ironic as the business is black owned. Which is even more reason why we like to support. When we spoke to the lady behind the counter, she was not interested in what we had to say. She even said the woman has her own mind, so what is she meant to do not sure if they was friends of the staff as the lady behind the counter was in constant chats with them laughing etc when really she should of remained neutral. I ordered a tuna Panini which was great and a hot drink. My fork was dirty and when I raised this to the lady behind the counter, she said I will get you another fork when she brought it over, She threw it on the table with an attitude. On leaving the receptionist did apologise for the experience however it doesn’t take away the fact that this is a huge safeguarding risk where visitors are allowed to shout at other peoples children and staff don’t do anything about it. To say our group spent about £200 on entry and food, I’ve paid these prices in London! Won’t visit again which is a shame.

Lovely place for role play. Lots of different places to play in, the toys a looking a little tired and need an update/ clean up. Children love it, and its a great size with reasonable prices for food/ drinks. Could do with additional activities in the space room. I love that they have a space room but maybe a bunch of half moon coloured stepping balancing stones, few more sensory/ light up items/ light boards would make it more interesting as most children walk in there and walk out. The Fire station also needs few more role play options for the children. Room is little boring compared to the salon, hospital & shop.

Took my 2 children here yesterday and was really impressed. Staff were really friendly and attentive, great food and coffee. Toys and play area were spotlessly clean. Fantastic atmosphere, not too rowdy for the younger kids as we all know what it can be like in some soft plays. Couldn’t fault it, can’t wait to go back as kids loved it

The most amazing, beautiful role play centre I’ve ever been to. My daughter and niece love it there. The staff are super friendly, especially the owner. Beckie is amazing. Birthday party’s here are magical. Lovely large party room. Highly recommend!

An absolute amazing venue for all children. The owner went out of her way to be accommodating to my daughter with autism. She had the best time. The place is so magical for children and even adults! It has been well thought out and it is so clean! I have recommended you to family and friends. We will definitely be returning soon :) Thank you!

Stunning place. Everything has been so well thought out. Prices are fantastic too for what you get! When do you get barista coffee while watching your child play? I had the pancakes and they were so good. Staff are all so lovely and friendly. Can’t wait to come back already.

Really enjoyed this little gem of a place, the kids loved it! Price isn't too bad in my opinion at £10 and an additional £3 for an extra adult. You can enjoy the food and the coffee here while the kids play which is great. Becky was so helpful, would highly recommend this place to everybody.

Though small, this place is brilliant. From the ever so friendly staff to the layout of everything. As soon as you walk in they have an amazing cultured book shelf which won me over straight away. It’s a great role play area and definitely something different to do with the children. A fab place to bring their imagination to life.
