   A decent store that has just had a cafe added. We buy all of our bedding from here, the Dorma range is excellent. The best thing though about the shop is that dogs are not allowed!!! (Most important if you are allergic).

   They accidentally refunded me money. Which I didn't notice. Then they tried to charge me because I didn't return it, they never did a good job of proving that it wasn't a scam and were surprised when I rang them given that their customer service number is basically hidden everywhere you look

   Visited this store as we needed some urgent homeware items. Found exactly what we needed at very reasonable prices. Staff were very helpful. The clearance section was a bit sparse and didn’t offer anything of use to us. Didn’t use the cafe but have done at other dunelms and they are good. Plenty of parking out front.

   Dunelm have just recently revamped their store in Ilkeston and made an absolutely fabulous job. The store is now so light and airy, with lots of household bargains. The best thing is that they have made a cafe in the store and it us absolutely brilliant. The food is good quality and very reasonable, service is quick. The staff are so polite, helpful, and professional. They have named their cafe Pause.

   Will never set foot in any of there stores ever again. We went into the Ilkeston branch and was looking for curtains but didn't have the size, so they said we'll ordered them for you online, the biggest mistake we ever made, order will take a week to be delivered on the 16th January, OK, email came through to state details. On the 16th we waited in, ALL day, then at 4 30pm I decided to phone the branch and was given another number to ring, ringing this number took 30 mins to get through, firstly asking where are our curtains? A reply of let me look into this for you taking our details and order number etc, oh there out of stock you'll have to wait 72hrs and ring again... Oh No we won't. Cancel the order now, we have stayed in all day, with no phone call, email or txt to tell us there out of stock, which could have been told to us 7 days ago. Dunelm T&C's clearly states if the item is out of stock we will inform you, which never happened on placing the order. A large retailer like Dunelm should be ashamed. No apologies..No Compensation for wasting our time. Nothing. Unprofessional to say the least. Another day of our lives we'll never get back.

   Weird smell halfway around the shop. Fairly long queue, so it must be popular/busy as there were at least 3 tills open. Selection is OK, but I prefer the Derby dunelm

   Nice store,plenty of choice. Staff do not engage,from the guy we let in front of us ( staff member)who didn't smile,acknowledge or thank us, to the woman we came face to face with several times...not one "Hello" or even a smile. Early morning with hardly anyone else in store. Duty Manager wasn't a happy person either, clearly not happy in their job that morning. Saving grace was the cashier. She could be the example for everyone else. Will use Derby or Burton in future.
