Such a lovely place to visit! Thereβs convenient parking along the canal, just a short walk to the Heritage Centre. I only stopped for a coffee this time, but the cafΓ© offers plenty of food and drink options, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Thereβs lots of interesting history to read about, and the surrounding area is beautiful β perfect for a stroll along the canal. A short walk takes you to Beeston Marina, and a little further on is the stunning Attenborough Nature Reserve. A fantastic spot to spend a few relaxing hours. Definitely worth a visit β youβll really enjoy your time here!

This is a marvellous place to come and visit, there's parking along the canalside available with just a small walk to the Heritage Centre... I only had a coffee as my time was limited but there's plenty available to eat and drink with inside and outside seating available... There's much on view to read about the history of the area and lot's to view outside along the canal and a further short walk to the wonderful Beeston Marina and another short walk to the Attenborough Nature Reserve... like I Said there's plenty to see and do... An absolutely fantastic way to spend a few hours of your day... Come along, you will most certainly enjoy your time here...

The Heritage Centre itself is lovely. Visited the cafe that was a little overwhelmed, the staff who I hope were new staff were struggling to cope on a busy Sunday Lunchtime, this was not helped by many of the customers not understanding the order pagers, and that what was on their receipts was not necessarily what they had ordered, as these were being handled written separately. The gardens are lovely and food was good. Some confusion over hot drinks and a rather rude member of staff, but I'll allow for the fact it wa a hot busy day.

Have been here many times and always enjoyed it. The location is excellent. Service only gets one star as we have just been told off for queuing in the wrong place despite no signs indicating where to stand. Needless to say we just walked away. I think someone needs to go on a customer service course.

Having left Nottingham Station for a short cycle tour, I got here hungry and stopped as it was the first place in my route. Had scrambled eh in today so can't claim to have really experienced their menu. Looks to be simple stuff and will priced. Coffee was way too hot and served in disposable cups, even when sitting in. Both things that would put me off going back for coffee. Will say that the staff were super friendly and helped me out with a few questions I had about the local area, as a visitor.

Great cafe and heritage centre. There are lovely walks along the canal and the River Trent. Great for dog walking. This is a good place to start and end your walk. It has Great facilities for all, even a lift for disabled wheelchair users to reach the first floor terrace. Lovely gardens, lovely food and lovely people.
