Breakfasts were nicely presented, food was tasty and staff were friendly. Sadly, the service is very slow, even drinks took quite a while to prepare and there is totally inadequate extraction/ventilation in the cafe. There was a blue smoky haze throughout the seating area and we came away with our clean clothes reeking of bacon and cooked food. Not for us, I’m afraid.

We only had takeaway coffee. The ladies were lovely and working very hard! There were lots of customers, and three people definitely weren’t enough. I waited 20 minutes for my coffee, but the friendly service made up for the wait. I didn’t try any food, and inside it was a bit smoky, so if you go out afterward, you might smell of grease and frying. Toilet was clean. Recommended to try if around area.

We found this cafe by fluke when driving by, it was 11:45 and the pub round the corner was shut, we noticed the sign on side of the road and drove in (lots of free parking) Staff were very polite and friendly and the cafe was very clean and tidy. Sausage score is 10/10 !! I do not give a 10/10 lightly however this was perfection. I would definitely come back to here again. Total price paid for Big Breakfast and regular breakfast along with Latte and hot chocolate was £28.80 WiFi is also available here as well. Bluelight card is not accepted if anyone was wondering.

Can't fault the food or service. The pricing is significantly lower than some of the other venues in the surrounding villages. £23 for a Cheddar Ploughman's platter, Chilli & Rice, and two teas. I feel this would be pushing £30 elsewhere. It's all good.

Lovely little setting. We sat outside as the weather was good. Jubilee trifle and a beer. Very tasty. The other cakes looked good. Friendly service and dog friendly. Seems a popular place and one we would use again.

Visited one lunchtime with my mum, we had a lovely time, booking advised for groups as there is limited space inside. Food was delicious and well presented and they had a great selection of drinks and cakes. Both of us have intolerances to food, the staff went above and beyond to share the ingredients of their tomato chutney, which wasn't suitable so they swapped it for fresh tomato.

First time here today and won't be the last. Busy place but such a lovely setting with really nice staff. I had the Crayfish salad and it didn't disappoint, absolutely loved it. Look forward to coming again.
