What a lovely little gem - please don't come here because I want to keep it to myself! Great cake, a decent mug of coffee for a change and excellent service.
Absolutely lovely little spot- literally 100 yards from the D H Lawrence Birthplace Museum, so perfect to pop in after. The food is all home made and delicious, and Julie, who owns and runs the tearoom, is a lovely host. We got the luxury afternoon tea, and it was gorgeous. Absolutely 100% will be returning, I could not recommend this place more!
After meaning to visit Julie's for a while.. I popped in today and had her omelette and salad. Served up with proper English tea, in the pot. Freshly made whilst you wait and it was lovely. What a gem of a tea room in Eastwood. Will return and recommended.
Just had luxury cream tea for 2. Absolutely first class and excellent !!! We had half savoury and half sweet, so much we didn't know where to start first. Even then couldn't finish it all, so Julie did us a doggie bag. Cracking place!! Julie is a lovely lady. It was our anniversary and visiting Julie's made it even more special. Thank you. Will recommend.
We're not local so unlikely to be back soon, but thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and a big pot of tea. Very friendly service with tables at the front and rear of the property. Mostly local patrons enjoying Julie's food and personality.
Lovely afternoon tea served on a pretty tea-set and cakestands. Friendly staff and delicious food around the corner from DH Lawrence's birthplace. Great value for money and good choice of options on the menu; the gluten-free and dairy-free food was excellent. Very enjoyable and cosy afternoon had by all.
