Great menu, loads of veggie and vegan options alongside trad pub classics. Excellent beer selection for those who like that. And busy - so it's clearly not just me who thinks this is a cracking pub. Highly recommended.

Cracking pub, meaning to come here for ages. Lovely old school pub with a real fire. Itβs on the platform of Beeston railway station so very handy if you have βmissed your trainβ lol

I really love this place β it has such a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. No matter how busy it gets, the staff are always helpful, accommodating, and incredibly professional, which makes such a difference. The outdoor area is one of my favourite spots, especially when thereβs live music β it feels so vibrant yet peaceful at the same time, even though itβs right next to the station. Outside thereβs a cosy section with books, which gives it an extra charm. The menu is fantastic β such a wide variety of cuisines, all tasting very homemade with fresh herbs, real flavour, and quality ingredients. The portions are generous, and I really appreciate the thoughtful touches, like the pasta options for children and the fresh side salad. Itβs one of those rare places that manages to feel both lively and relaxing, with great food and drinks to match. Definitely a favourite of mine!

Great traditional pub next to Beeston Station. So glad to have discovered this place. Arrived from London and had a late lunch, revisited again after a long walk in the wetlands a few days later and had breakfast there on our last day before heading back to London! Friendly staff, amazing menus, seems very popular with the locals. Lots of tables reserved. Recent visit in July 2025 ... great selection of food and even a dedicated menu for the pooches. Live music too... see blackboard pic.

Visited Saturday 18th March 2023 early evening. Not going to lie, I was a little worse for wear by the time I got here so this review probably won't be the best. The pub itself is pretty big and quiet imposing, after entering the door on the right leads to a small room, essentially the 'bar' side, the door on the left leads to the 'lounge' side which is essentially the restaurant. The bar side was very quiet; however, the restaurant side was packed, it seems to be more of a restaurant than a traditional pub. Having said that, there were plenty of people just having a drink. Beer choice is pretty good with some decent cask alongside keg, lager, spirits, wine, soft drinks etc. Staff were friendly and polite, we didn't eat but the food looked great. We'll be back next time we're in Beeston and we'll probably eat there.

what's not to love ?! a truly cracking place with great beer choice and large variety of excellent food to eat - plus can vouch for the sandwiches! . Superb setting right next to the Beeston Railway Station (straight off the platform!). Never fails to give me enjoyment!

I've been coming to the Vic for 20 years- and it's so reliably great that I'd recommend it to anyone. It's a proper pub, with guest ales and ciders, lots of changing options on food and a really cosy atmosphere. The bar is dog friendly, they even have dog treats available which is a lovely touch. I would recommend booking ahead for the restaurant especially at the weekend as it's popular. They have a great outside area which was how they kept active in lockdown, but is lovely in the summer. I think with the cost of living they've kept the heating off outside until the pub is full, which is fair. I normally have the Lincolnshire sausage and mash, which you can order large or small, and a pint of Stowford Press cider- I'm a creature of habit and the sausages are fab haha. Lots of vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options are available and the pub is all on one level with a couple of small ramps, so it's pretty accessible.

Nice pub in Beeston, by the train station and the old hotel. Marquee in beer garden so can sit outside if itβs raining, etc. good range of beers and non-alcoholic beers.

Great Irish music from Kelly's Heroes, lovely atmosphere, very good food, decent red wine - a bit pricey but much better than usual pub wines. Would definitely spend another Sunday afternoon there.
