   The best hot chocolate in town. A group of five of us (three adults, two children under 2 years of age) visited here in May 2024. The atmosphere was absolutely lovely and both the place and the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. We came with a wide double buggy and the staff were so helpful in fitting us in the tea room. We went in for a bit of brunch. Having a selection of bacon baps and cake. To drink was coffee and hot chocolates. The hot chocolates were outstanding (we ordered a honeycomb and a mint). Just delicious and the perfect treat for a slightly rainy day. The cake was a chocolate kinder cake and again this was delicious. We'll definitely be visiting again when we're next in town.

   Fantastic place. I regularly eat here or just popi n for a coffee. Fresh quiche made while you wait (about 15 minutes). Worth the wait. The cakes are delicious and large slices (but youcan have a ½ slice). I took my friend the other week and she really enjoyed it - so much so that she is going again. Never had bad service. Staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. Everything is home made and fresh. There is a free carpark opposite for about 10 cars and 2 disabled spaces k3 hour parking). There are also 22 other car parks in Kimberley - one for 3 hours and one is free for an hour and the £1 till 6.00pm. Would highly recommend.

   Please beware of buying vouchers - brought vouchers, since they have changed hands but new owners do not accept them!! When calling spoken to a very rude person and even put phone down on me!!! Great customer service not!!

   I want with my husband yesterday we thought it was a warm and cosy atmosphere. Staff helpful and friendly and the food was lovely. Would definitely recommend and be going there again.

   This was, without a doubt, the best afternoon tea that I have ever had. Everything is made by the very talented baker. The macaroons were the best I have ever had. Absolutely everything was faultless. The staff were so helpful and really friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back, really impressed and I will be recommending Madhatters to everyone.

   Dearest Nygel, We just want to say thankyou for being a part of our special day. We are sincerely grateful for how accomodating you have been through the whole process. From supporting us when our first wedding was cancelled to moving our venue completely at short notice. Your character, kind heart and selflessness is something very rare to find and you are one in a million. You deserve every success and review you have ever had. May life continue to shine on you, like you shine on the rest of the world. The food was lovingly made, comforting in a way that is almost nostalgic stirring memories of relatives of times past. Everything was tasty, fresh and you could taste love with every bite. All of my family of 60, have all said how amazing the food was, the tea was free flowing and the servers were caring but friendly. I cannot express my wholehearted appreciation for everything Nygel and his team have done for us. If you are thinking about booking, don't waste time looking around. There is no better option for amazing food, service and passion. I honestly feel like Nygel is part of our family, we will hold this beautiful day deep in our hearts and memories for ever more, All the love in the world, Mr & Mrs Hudson

   Not your typical coffee shop at all. Lots of wonderful cakes and food plus blue monkey beer selection. However it's the atmosphere and decorations that make it outstanding. There are hats to try on lots of hats. Everything from wedding hats party hats posh hats and silly hats. The main theme is Alice in wonderland at the mad hatters tea party. A brilliant place to meet a friend or family for a beverage and catch up. They also do themed evening. I have been to the psychic evening with Jan Mayfield and she is amazing medium. She tells you exactly what she sees or hears and there's no hiding from the truth with Jan. The other special events are for mother and father day Greek night tapas night. The good is always freshly prepared and if you have dietary requirements phone in advance and they will bend over backwards to help you.
