I found myself in Staplegord for an evening and fancied a good pint so was delighted to stumble upon this Camera recommended pub. Great place, delicious beer and inexpensive pizza. Turned out nice again.

Room clean and tidy and ok for the price which is very reasonable. Showers and toilets are not en suite which is fine but the shower would not run hot. Staff friendly.

A lot of real ales from the pump, nice staff, good atmosphere - no wonder they're Camra-awarded multiple times. Funny smoking area. Unfortunately it has no car park but you can park nearby. We also stayed overnight and the room was good and clean, with TV, coffee/tea stuff and even a small fridge. Bathrooms are shared but there are enough and they were clean. Reasonable prices for beer and room. We enjoyed our stay.

Welcoming and friendly real ale pub. Big selection of ales all well kept. Neepsend Double Century was perfect. Plenty of tables to sit at. Dog-friendly. Great place to meet up with friends and enjoy top ale - or have a quiet pint. Feel we should’ve been coming here for years.

Lovely stop off on a nice local walk for a bit of tapas and a couple of pints. Great atmosphere in what is one of Stapleford’s nicer watering holes.

Lovely pub. Great selection of ales of all kinds. Owner very knowledgeable about what he sells and very lovely atmosphere. Warm food available and the pizza nights on Thursday sound great! Will be back 100%.

This has become me and my dad's pub of choice when I come back to visit. Great selection of beers and ciders - even for the lager drinker like me. Great staff, friendly atmosphere. Everyone chatting but everyone keeping themselves to themselves. Just a first class pub.

Stayed here just overnight as was working away in this area late into the night and again early in the morning so just wanted a place to get some sleep, was pleasantly surprised after a warm welcome at the bar I was give a wealth of knowledge of the area for eating etc... My room was comfortable and quiet and was perfect for my needs. Didn't have time to try the pub but what I saw was impressive and busy for a Wednesday night so that says a lot. Would stay again if in the area.
