A great place for a cheap meal and alcoholic beverages. Fascinating building situated on Ilkeston market place. Ex Quicksave supermarket,converted into the existing pub/restaurant,as wetherspoons do .
A fish that looks to be sliced in half and then battered, around 3cm in diameter. Swearing customers and didn't offer a snack with the children's meal.
Classic wetherspoons pub/restaurant based in Ilkeston. Food was average which is to be expected for their cheap price. Services was good and quick, and it's nice that they have a small upstairs area which is typically quieter
Enjoyable visit, nice staff, who brought us a couple of pints of Abbot ale straight up from the barrel in the cellar since the line was being cleaned. Customers were very pleasant, too. All in all, no complaints whatsoever. Looking forward to a return visit.
Stopped here for breakfast... service was good. We used the app to order and didnt wait long for our food
Cheap beer and food, the food and portions are of a quality you would expect. You get what you pay for. The ales are well looked after and relativley cheap.The service is good the staff are engaged and friendly.
Food is absolutely fine and good value for money. Majority of staff are pleasant and helpful but one, I won’t name names, needs to go on a customer service course or at least learn to smile and not look like he hates customers. Won’t put us off going but a smile makes all the difference when it comes to customer service.
Quite a small Wetherspoons ideally located in the town with an interesting selection of historical facts dotted on the walls. I had a Ghost Ship 0.5% which actually tastes like beer whilst watching the news on TV
