Always feels a special treat to dine in the Grand Café. The Christmas menu included a white chocolate and cranberry cheesecake which was delicious!

The food was delicious, the service was excellent. It was my husband's birthday and you treated him wonderfully. His disability means he only has use of his right arm but your chef kindly sliced the meat on his main course before serving so we avoided stares at me doing it for him. Also the little surprise at the end really touched us both.

I visited this place for breakfast. The food was okay, but nothing special. The dishes they use are quite strange and uncomfortable. The service was good, as you would expect from such an expensive place. The atmosphere was pleasant too. However, the main thing - the food - was disappointing and didn’t live up to the restaurant’s level.

We visited Grand Cafe just before breakfast ended — thankfully, the waiter kindly warned us and rushed our order through. Points for effort there. The place was averagely clean, if you overlook the artistic display of crumbs and scraps left on a few tables. When placing our order, no one asked about allergies or how I’d like my eggs — apparently, “chef’s guess” is the standard option here. The “House Breakfast” arrived glistening in so much oil that I briefly wondered if it came with a complimentary cholesterol test. Every bite felt like a gamble between hunger and heart failure. To add to the experience, the drinks showed up after the food. And the coffee? Straight from an instant machine — something I absolutely didn’t expect from a place that presents itself as high-end. All in all, it wasn’t the worst breakfast I’ve endured, but definitely not one I’d risk my arteries for again.

Amazing Amazing Amazing! Incredible from start to finish, each course truly deserving of its own “amazing.” We attended the ‘Beef Wellington Night’ in the Grand Cafe and it was, without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. Every element of each course was served hot, including the sourdough and flatbread and impressively stayed that way throughout, no small feat given the variety of dishes on offer. When the beef Wellington arrived, it was perfection, golden, crisp pastry encasing beautifully pink, tender beef that practically melted in our mouths. Frankly, even Gordon Ramsay would have been impressed. The service was just as outstanding. The staff were attentive, warm, and clearly passionate about what they do, which added so much to the evening. We’re already looking forward to our next visit—can’t wait!

Lovely decor with great breakfast menu. However if you're hoping to any work here come prepared with your own connection as WiFi is shocking. Service could be a bit more attentive, very friendly though.

Good food and good service, open early for breakfast and I was able to charge my phone which was what I needed, but at the end of the day it's just a modern hotel dining room so I knocked off one star for lack of atmosphere.
