This is like if you blended every flat roof pub Iβve been to into one mega pub and stuck karaoke in it. 3 morettis less than a fiver each, no complaints from this old warhorse!

We ordered a bottle of wine for four people, but unfortunately all the glasses we were given were filthy. We politely asked for replacements, but the staff member behind the bar insisted they had just come out of the pot washer. If thatβs the case, then it clearly wasnβt working properly. My grandma kindly pointed this out and even showed the staff the dirty wipe she had used to try cleaning them herself. Instead of resolving the issue, the man walked away, said he wasnβt going to argue, and handed over another set of glassesβwhich were also dirty. The whole situation was disappointing. Clean glasses should be a basic standard, and there was no need for the dismissive attitude. Sadly, this experience has put us off returning.

Great place. I am writing this review because they helped me out. I was nearby, depositing cash on atm when a drunken guy started shouting at me gibberish and threatening me with violence . I quickly ran to this place and the bouncers let me in. Not only the place protected me, but the barmaid gave me free cola after hearing what happened. These fellas deserve 5 stars for this, least I can do.

Fantastic boozer full of brilliant people. I came here a year ago while visiting a friend in uni and went here to watch the Liverpool match. A lovely bloke bought us a pint to cheer us up. Good memories.

A really unusual, quirky pub with lots of little rooms and alcoves. There were numerous beers on offer but I didn't notice food being served. Overall a good experience.

Clean, smart, nice looking pub. Friendly staff, good music, nice atmosphere, polite decent door staff and only Β£2.20p for a pint of John Smith's at the weekend. Β£2 in the week the bar lad told me. I live close by and highly recommend it.
