   Hole In The Wall is a proper pub, a pub that Long Eaton should rightly be proud of. A cracking selection of local real ales, all well kept in excellent condition. An immaculately clean traditional bar, a warm welcome from the landlord. This pub is an absolute gem of a place, use it or lose it folks.

   This was the best pub for me when I lived in Long Eaton, I even worked there for a while. You couldn't ask for a better owner who I have the pleasure of being his friend as well as boss, I had many a great time in the hole in the Wall and I have to say I really miss going there. Its been a very long time since I lived here but I have never forgot this wonderful pub.

   OK, its not the fanciest or most modern pub in Long Eaton, but it's one of the most comfortable and easy going. It's also won more beer awards than you can shake a stick at. This pub has an ever-changing menu of local beers at reasonable prices. The owner takes huge pride in his beers. I've seen him take back half-drunk pints and refilled them because he didn't like the clarity after the beer had settled. It's very friendly and serves great cobs at lunchtimes. It's like a time machine - you go in for a quick drink at 1 pm, like it so much that when you walk outside its four hours later. Open again now - Feb 2022.

   I drank in this pub 50 years ago when I was at Trent College.spent many happy hours in there. In those far off days the landlord was a jovial guy called Jack. Called in there last year before lockdown,much smarter now and far more choice still a great pub.in those days mild and blackcurrant 11d old money! Happy days and better than learning at school.

   Can't believe we didn't find this little gem earlier! Proper pub with a genuine welcome. If you think a good pub is one where the ale is properly looked after, takes centre stage and conversation is important, this one is for you. Good beer and very friendly. And rugby! Expect we will be regular visitors.
