   I was badly treated in Penn hospital and the way the consultant treated me and discharged me knowing that I wasn’t ready to be discharged Due To Me still feeling suicidal and self harming whilst still on the ward I told my support team at the hospital how I was feeling and they still discharged me and when I was discharged They Given Me Over two weeks worth of medication knowing that I’m high Risk Of Overdosing as I have a history of overdosing. When I got discharged, I was still feeling suicidal and Felt that I can’t keep myself safe in the community. The mental health team do not care about anyone your just a another person on their books, I have put a complaint in about the way I was treated, My consultant thinks he’s better than anybody else he was Grinning and smirking at me in my ward rounds thinking he knows everything i kicked off on my last ward round told them how I was feeling and I still got discharged what a waste of the the mental health team are…..

   If I coukd give 0 stars I would awfull place staff are rude night staff asleep on patients sofas most of the night swearing at you arguing just a total joke of a hospital if anything it makes u worse staff don't give a dam and stick together ovcourse

   At Penn Hospital we have one inpatient ward where we give 24-hour care and support to older people with mental health needs such as dementia, depression, and anxiety. We take referrals from Wolverhampton Hospital hospital wards, casualty, residential or private care homes, social workers, community nurses, and staff at our own services. Referrals always come from health professionals, and all referrals go to our consultant psychiatrists.

   You tell them specifically what medication doesn’t work for you or what treatment you don’t want to complete and they will directly push you towards those “solutions” and then leave you for months

   Most of the staff here really don't care All you are is a number to them I actually heard one of the staff tell a patient to leave them alone Thought they was here to help but apparently all that the staff are here to do is safeguard you No support given at all Wish I'd have stayed in West Bromwich at Friar house Hallam St Penn hospital disgusting

   I wish I could give them a zero star but it won't let me leave a review else. They haven't been to see my father in law ounce even though he has brain damage which has left him to be aggresssive. Instead they gave him some weird blue pill and haven't check up on how they are working for him In 6 months. Ao this escalated this week end where he harmed his partner and they did nothing about it even though we begging them for months to review him we even had to beg them for scan results on his brain which as we believe he has the early stages of dementia as he cannot remember what hea doing. This scan results have been lost and we do not have answers to what's happening today and they will not give him his results instead discharged him knowing he could be a risk to this lady upto the point he physically attacked her as night. Only to be told by a snotty nurse " what do you want me to do about it" and here's a complaints number, shame on you Penn Hospital!!!
