First time at District & I ordered a coffee extra hot with a scone. One half of the scone was underbaked & my coffee was not hot however I have to give 4 * for the service & the comfy seating area along with a relaxing atmosphere. When I returned the scone the girls were very apologetic & offered me another option which for me was very important to any business ( great customer service) The little pots of jam that arrived with the scone were a little bonus. Only for half of the scone being underbaked the other half tasted lovely so would I return? Yes!

Terrible service. Very frustrating. You make me travel all the way in the pouring rain to collect my food. When I get to the store you say it's been cancelled. I show you it hasn't. You then take my phone. Look at your tablet. Cancel the order in front of me. Then say that's been cancelled - We don't have enough food. I look at the food that's in front of me. You've still got plenty of stuff. Maybe not the stuff you'd normally put in the bag but plenty of stuff. You don't offer me an apology and you don't offer anything as a resolution. Why should people go to your restaurant? I understand it's a mistake but usually you find a way to rectify that mistake. A voucher? A hot chocolate? An apology? Instead you made me feel like I was bothering you.

A nice atmosphere, not too busy for a Sunday brunch spot. No avocado on the menu :(

Lovely brekkie of rashers and pancakes after a very early 5am start. Good coffee too. The breakfast brioche bun looks very inviting too.

Really went for their waffles with berry compote and creme fresh. Sadly this option is no longer on their menu and the alternative, pancakes with maple syrup, was bland and disappointing.

I'd been here before to meet a friend for coffee and it had been fine, so I thought I would study here one afternoon while in the area. The baristas were not the warmest (I felt as though I was intruding on their conversation and it was clear they wanted me to hurry with my order), which was fine, but after about 15 minutes of settling in and beginning to work, they suddenly began blaring rap music. I like hip hop/rap well enough, but it was SO loud it was impossible to study or hold a conversation. The food and drink are subpar (as most chain cafes tend to be), but the rudeness of the staff really was too much. Will not be back.

staff seemed to be overwhelmed and dispassionate (probably underpaid, but they were still polite!), chaos behind the counter, ridiculously overpriced, bland interior. there was an atmosphere of carelessness to the place. food itself was nice enough but portions were tiny. it was the only place where there was no queue outside for sunday brunch - now we know why

Really disappointing, used to go here quite a bit when we lived in Belfast near in its Stranmillis location. When we arrived, the woman at the front taking orders was not very friendly. She said it was very busy so expect to wait awhile for the food in a way that seemed like she wanted us to leave. There were quite a few tables free so we said no worries that is fine. She began taking our order and half way through looked away to talk to a colleague and turned back around to us and said "Sorry, what?" in a very rude tone as if we were interrupting her. Food arrived and it was decent, however, right at the last bite of my partners breakfast bap we found a large chunk of mould... disgusting. When we took it up to the counter the woman just took it and said "Thanks" and one of the guys said "Really sorry about that". Not even an offer for a refund or a complimentary baked good like you get at big brand shops. Photo attached. Really disappointing visit. Will never be back.
