Fantastic customer service from Sophie and Pheonix. Who went above and beyond their role by traveling to another store to pick up the correct bicycle (in time for Christmas) after head office had delivered the wrong one. They are a credit to the store and we cannot thank them enough.
Came here to look at scooters for my 8 year old and he wanted to try them out. Not whizz around the shop but just get a feel.. But these were tagged so they couldn't ride around the shop (which was empty) I asked a gentleman from Halfords who said it was Health and Safety why he couldn't try them out very sharp and quite rude. So went to Decathlon where he could try them out and they made the sale. Health and Safety making Halfords lose money. My recommendation is go to Decathlon where the staff go out their way to be helpful.
Easy to order online, and collect the order the same day. Good price for the items I needed. I have also had a windscreen chip repair done, which was quick and to a high standard, and was cheaper than some mobile repair firms. This can also be booked to be done at your preferred location at an additional cost.
Extremely poor experience here. Avoid if you can. I had taken my car in for a queried bulb change. The staff member who had a look at it was extremely rude. He walked over to the car, didn’t greet us and didn’t interact with us at all. The only thing he did say was that the bulb change didn’t work. He didn’t communicate at all and came across incredibly uninterested with a very careless attitude. Then took us to pay and you could tell he had an extremely poor attitude. I am fully aware that people have bad/ off days but this interaction was extremely rude and awkward and the whole time we felt extremely uncomfortable. The lady there however, was lovely and polite. Called in to pick up a click & collect order. Staff member was friendly and the goods were next to the till area so I was in and out within a couple of minutes. My receipt was emailed to me as I left the store. All very efficient.
I had an excellent experience of getting a dash cam fitted at Halfords, Ilkeston. From my initial enquiry, when everything was explained clearly and helpfully, to today's appointment, where Rachel expertly fitted the dash cam which I already owned, everything was done in a friendly, yet expert way. When she had finished fitting the cabling, which is nice and neat, Rachel tested the dash cam, set it up as I wanted it and went through the workings in a clear and helpful way. I would definitely recommend.
Dash cam fitted 21st January, fitters name was Rachel, she did a great job, very neat finish. Found all the staff at the store helpful and on top of their job.
Went to get a new headlight bulb fitted and the service I received was exceptional. The mechanic, Rachael, was really professional and knowledgeable. She replaced it within minutes without any issues. Thank you.
Went into the ilkeston store on Friday morning. I needed a new wiper blade for my car. The two staff that dealt with myself was absolutely brilliant. Patrick went onto the computer and shown me what was available for my car. The youg girl that was with him explained which one was the best for my car. I asked her if they could fit it for me. She said no problem and came straight out with me and fitted it. I think her name was Charlotte. Excellent service and was a pleasure to deal with them.
