   Lovely new refurbished venue and fantastic staff. The food was OK but there are unfortunately nicer food options locally (West Hallam, Stanton Village, Smalley Cross) with lower or similar costs. Can't decide whether the good food should have been lower in cost or better in quality to match the price. We'd happily go back but perhaps more when offers available price the food at levels better reflecting the quality of the food.

   Been for a birthday meal for 24 of us and the service and food was incredible. To account for all of us with the standard and delicious food so we were all able to eat together was top notch. The customer service and effort put in was 10/10 highly recommend the lamb shank. You have all made my birthday so special and will definitely be back. Thank you Susan for all of your input and to your team Emma, Kyle, Daniel and Brad you really are awesome

   Newly furnished, it was very nice. The only downside were the tables with benches and tall chairs. I found those very uncomfortable. Food excellent, toilets spotless

   Cracking pub on the nain road between Ilkeston and Heanor. 3 hand pumps for real ale fans , lagers and ciders also on offer. Dont be put off that its part of the Pub People chain, the food is very good, good value for money and served on nice hot plates. Take a look at the Specials board in the restaurant area , as these are home made dishes prepared by the wonderful Sue. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options too. Will be back next week

   OMG what wonderful food! We were just passing through and stopped off on a whim, so glad we did. Both of us had fish dishes and they were cooked to perfection. Lots of choice for food and for children and prices are very good too. Staff super friendly. *****

   Quieter than I would expect for a Sunday lunch time, but still a decent atmosphere, and decent beer too. Not overly expensive too. I'm not sure why, but this place doesn't seem as popular as it uses to, and I can't really tell why. Staff was friendly though which improves the visit.

   Nice local pub with good food and a nice selection of beers and spirits. Inside atmosphere is nice with friendly, helpful staff. Good size room for having a family party or wakes after a funeral. Car park is a little small. A little slow if in a very large group
