Nothing like an espresso bar should be. The staff had no idea what they were doing. The cappuccino was so milky I couldn’t taste the coffee. They also forgot to make my friend’s coffee. There was only one veggie or non-pork option for food and it was a meagre bean and rice burrito.

Despite my grumpy face (it's very early), the barista was unwavering in his upbeat and friendly service. Coffee (americano with oat milk) was good, too.

Really nice central cafe with a small seating area, baby changing facilities and toilets. The food is a bit like a much better Mcdonald's breakfast with baps and pastries. Price seems fair for the quality, wait times short, and staff friendly and welcoming. Would recommend

I stopped by Ground Espresso on Queen St. in Belfast twice during my short trip as my hotel was close by. The coffee was excellent both times—but what really stood out was the service. The guy working there who served me on both occasions (I heard him mention it was only his 4th day on the job!) is an absolute asset to this café. He was warm, welcoming, and effortlessly managed multiple customers at once while making each interaction feel personal. It’s rare to see someone so genuine and attentive in a busy coffee shop, and it truly made this one of the best food and drink experiences I’ve had in Belfast. This is exactly the kind of service that brings people back. Great work, man—keep that attitude and energy going!

This is a place where locals work and study. There’s self serve tap water and nice staff. I recommend the ham and cheese croissant, but could be improved by some fresh lettuce instead of the old bagged salad which gets rusty and limp too quickly. A fresh lettuce leaf would have the same effect on the plate, would be easier to keep washed and ready in a cup of cool water near the prep station, and might be a cheaper option too! The coffee is immaculate.

Ordered a coffee and hot food paid plus left a tip the girl with the long blonde hair said take a seat and someone will bring it over. The girl in the glasses with dark hair acknowledged me saying it shouldn't be too long. She forgot all about my order and served other customers behind me their hot food. I produced my receipt and was refused my money back. Very poor customer service.
