This park is quiet, green, and offers a nice view over Bath. The climb up is steep, but the reward is worth it.

After visiting the important historical places in Bath, we went up the Alexendra Park, atop a hillock overlooking the city of Bath. It offered stunningly beautiful views of the city, with identifiable landmarks. Spending some time in this lovely park with plenty of green space, was really relaxing. One can either take cab, or, if you have time and energy, one can walk up and down from the city.

Beautiful view point , It involved a bit of a walk up an inclined road plus some stairs . But it’s not too hard and the end result is worth the effort .

If I were to recommend a park to visit in Bath, Alexandra Park would be at the top of my list. Not only is it in a fantastic location with plenty of scenic walking trails leading to interesting spots, but it also boasts arguably the most stunning panoramic view of the city. On top of that, you can enjoy delicious coffee and pastries from Choux Box, and there’s plenty of space for dogs to run around. A must-visit!

Definitely has the best view of Bath! It was a steep climb from the town center but you can also just drive there as there is free parking around the area for at least an hour. We come here often to sit and enjoy the view with our packed lunches. A lot of people also come here to walk their dogs. They have toilets for 20p (you can pay by card if you don’t have any coins).

I love this smallish park with amazing panoramic views over Bath City and beyond it’s a lovely, relaxing green space with mature trees and plenty of seating. The park offers something for everyone such as walks, picnics, a place to play boules and a children’s play area. Paid parking is plentiful. I personally am happy just sitting looking out over the views with buzzards at times flying at eye level or below. This week the birds were happily chirping away.

what an amazing view of bath! we walked from there down to Bath. the steps are very steep and uneven but worth it though as it's only £1.20 for two hours

A well maintained table tennis table you will need to bring your own rackets and balls with you as I don't see any included there. It's a great location with amazing views across bath and next to the play park. There is a public toilet near by (20p) A great place to come and have a game with your friends or family.
