This was a superb pub for drinking, with a counter that stands out for being freshly presented in its brightness and layout! Windows separated into small squares alongside the lights is a nice setting, enjoyed a Stowford Press.
I love stopping in for the big fry and a coffee. Sets you up for the day, I don’t usually eat again until tea time! You’ll not get much better for the prices. And the bottomless coffee is brilliant too.
Good value food & drink. The burgers are recommended.
Called in here about 2.30pm for a late lunch/early dinner. I was pleased to see they do small versions of meals. I had the Cod & Chips with Mushy Peas and a pint of Guinness for £7.92 now that can't be bad. There was a good crowd in for that time of day. The food was good and the service took so I'll definitely be back.
First time coming here and it was pretty good. They have a big terrace to enjoy the place when it's not raining. I will come back here for sure.
Went to JD wetherspoons newtownards today ( 13/1/23 ) with my brother & two sisters. We had lunch & boy was it good. The boys had half chicken with chips & the girls had fish & chips. The food was plentiful, excellent quality & served on a hot plate. We also finished with 2 cups of cappuccino each. Staff were friendly and helpful & the bill for all 4 of us was under £40. Look forward to returning asap. Stephen dawson
Waiting to long to get served for food,waitress on and could off jumped on to help instead off standing about .All the same nice staff nice place.
Went to wetherspoons for lunch in Newtownards and it was not good looking at the poster to what was on the plate night & day. Was told 4 big slices of Turkey wafer thin and what was that gravy was it bits of apple in it. Ended up on loo so bad.
It's the spoons what can I say but cheap drink and a good feed,nice clean and friendly helpful staff,I'll be back many more times.
This place is good value for money although the prices have gone up a bit. Food is out super fast. No need to wait longer than ten minutes!! Very friendly and lovely staff. They have an outside area for smokers and non smokers. They have outside tables and at the very rear outside there's a covered area if it's raining. The best value for coffee and its a really good coffee machine. Pay £1.20 for a cup and fill your boots with it all day. Free top ups. AMAZING VALUE!
