I had the prettiest Irish coffee I've probably ever seen and talked to the barman Kevin for at least an hour because it was slow. Absolutely amazing and friendly gentleman, and gave me proper advice about places to see, other bars, and the murals in the area. It was absolutely class and I'd advise anyone stopping in Belfast to give it a visit

Amazing place! I visited in the middle of a weekday, so it was quite empty β and I actually loved that. The staff were absolutely wonderful: very polite, friendly, and easy to talk to. They served us perfectly, had a nice little chat, and even gave some tips on what to see nearby. Truly amazing people. We only had drinks and chips, so I canβt say much about the food, but everything we tried was good. And I have to mention how beautiful the place itself is β the decor is stunning. I really loved it. One of the best memories of that day.

Our first time in Belfast, and came across this witty little pub. The bar staff (Stuart & Maeve) were really welcoming, super funny and witty, sharing the typical Irish humour! Would definitely recommend this place and would come back on our next visit.

we had such a great experience here for an afternoon pint! i wish iβd gotten the bartenders name because he was the highlight of our trip to belfast, silver hair and glasses, and made us feel so welcome! i loved how fancy and classy this spot looked inside but then the courtyard was covered in the coolest street art. we were able to pour our own guinness the proper way, and enjoyed relaxing a bit and recharging in the back. such a great spot. then go across to the duke!

For a delightful surprise in bustling Belfast, pop into The Dark Horse! Tucked away, it's a witty escape whether you're after a swift drink, coffee, or dessert between sights. Step into the main room and you'll swear you're in Kensington Palace, but venture to the outdoor patio and you're plunged into a riot of satirical mural art. Don't miss it!

Very welcoming woman on door security. Made us feel very welcome and wished us well when leaving. Friendly bar staff. On a very lively Saturday night, this place still had a few seats and we could even have a conversation as the music was not too loud. Enjoyed watching the world going by towards the Duke of York, taking photos and selfies of the illuminated umbrellas.

Beautifully decorated bar, with a really brilliant courtyard/beer garden, full of interesting and funny murals, the Guinness is really good and the service was the highlight, the guys were funny, friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we walked in.
