Ordered new tyre a week before arrange to be fitted on a Sunday as garage said it was quieter then in the week . Got a phone call Sunday morning as they only just checked and did not have one . Finish work early on Monday in order to take van for the tyerto be fitted This is not the first time recently been let down . Book service and mot dropped van off as arranged , called them In the afternoon after not hearing from Them only to be told could not do . So had to collect back and rebook as need the van for work . The staff did the work well but was just let down hence the lower score

really good customer service. The car was being faulty and wouldn't start so we had to get jumped by someone, we came here after as they said they would check it over. as soon as we came they were very welcoming and understanding. they checked it over immediately. they then got us to stay briefly after to make sure that everything was 100% good and it was. we appreciate the honesty as they easily could've said that we needed a new battery and we wouldn't have been any wiser. instead they checked everything over as soon as we came, were very welcoming and then after that didn't charge because they'd checked everything over and everything was all good. really lovely people. 100% recommend

I had a terrible experience at this tyre shop and will never return. Here's what happened: I arrived at 5pm on a Friday with a punctured tyre, knowing they closed at 6pm. I explained I was in a hurry because I had to drop someone at Birmingham airport, and I was willing to pay extra for urgent service. They initially said they couldn’t help, but then said they’d “try.” After waiting for an hour, I came back and found my car hadn’t even been touched. When I asked what was going on, I was told the puncture was in a "risky" part of the tyre, and it would be unsafe to repair. They insisted I needed to replace the tyre. I asked them to show me where the puncture was, and the guy stuck his hand inside the tyre, claiming to feel a nail in a hidden spot. I couldn’t feel anything myself and was confused, but he still insisted the damage was inside and that I should come back another day for a replacement. I then asked if they could at least inflate the tyre, since it was almost flat, and was told they couldn’t do that because they were "closing up." This is where it gets worse: I went to another tyre shop just 500 meters away. Even though it was late, they took the time to help, found the puncture was exactly in the middle of the tyre (not “risky” or hidden at all, as the first shop claimed), and fixed it for only £15. I was back on the road in no time. What really frustrates me is that the first shop didn’t even try to help properly. Instead of just saying, "Sorry, we’re too busy," they made up an excuse and tried to push me into paying for a full tyre replacement — something that would’ve cost me £280 from one of the mobile tyre guys that night (This is the quote I was given by one to get it replaced that night). I spent over £800 with them last year for these tyres, but after this misleading experience, I will never return. It’s clear they just didn’t want to deal with me, and that kind of attitude is inexcusable.
