Cozy welcoming pub on the Shankill Rd. 5)3 interior was recently renovated and has a great atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and several regulars as tourists from the US. Probably the best pint of Guinness we had during our time in Belfast. Highly recommend this pub!
I visited Belfast from Germany and had some drinks at Rex Bar. The bartender was ectremely friendly and helpful. If I vivit Belfast again, I am going back to Rex for sure! =)
Me and partner in on Sunday afternoon after being on a troubles walking tour which ended just a cross the road from the pub we were a bit unsure at first but when we went in we were put at ease by the bar girl and the customer's that were in the pub and enjoyed the craic.
Great pub right in the heart of the Shankill Road. Friendly staff and customers. Love all the history on the walls. Best pint of Guinness you will ever have.
Stopped off there . For a couple of beers when over from Scotland. Glad I did . Just don't ask about certain decorations across the way . Instead enjoy a beer with fine folk.
Awesome place. The republican quarter in belfast is full of the loveliest people, this bar included! Great little irish pub, very authentic, just needed some irish folk !!
had one drink here, stopped off on the bus tour. Friendly enough, Guinness was good.
Great bar. Very traditional style layout and cheap (but cash only). Was empty when we arrived (last Tuesday early afternoon), but got talking to an extremely friendly, interesting, and knowledgeable local chap, who had popped in for a few. Would highly recommend.
