I was there for a book signing. Author Francis Higgins.(you could die laughing). The bar was simular to me as I once lived around the corner in Greeland st. The bar is steeped in history with pictures of old Belfast. If you read the book it tells alot of these stories

This place is roasting due to Janet lighting a fire in 20 degree heat, clearly has no blood circulation. Trevor the barman looks like Gary glitter when he was younger. That other review from Davy archer is utter bollix. He thought it was grinder. For a better experience in a bar on the shankill go to the Mountain View tavern. Upa shankill
