I dined at lunch upstairs by myself. I had a reservation and was able to be seated earlier as my previous activity was finished earIy. I had the vegetarian pie with mashed potatoes and carrots. All were delicious, served quickly and nice and hot. I had the sticky toffee pudding and ice cream for dessert. That was underwhelming. The atmosphere was very festive and inviting. The wait staff were very attentive. I would definitely recommend a meal here, especially as a visitor to Belfast for the first time. And having two cab pick ups right outside the door was very handy.

Neat historical 140+ year old Saloon with beautiful features & renovations through the years but that's where the positives end. We had reservations for dinner at 7 00 & as we entered the building we noticed how insanely loud it was. We almost walked out until we discovered the dining room is thankfully upstairs. We ordered 3 appetizers & the Sausage Champ & Mash. Everything was edible but for the most part pretty bland. We expected far better out of such a popular spot. The service in our opinion was borderline subpar but the prices were fair. Next time in Belfast we will skip the Crown Saloon.

Stunning bar for a unique drink or a memorable evening. Good beer, wide selection of drinks cocktail specials were particularly good on the evening we went. The real attraction is the venue: a historic boozer, with largely original interiors and stunning tiling and ornate ceilings. The main bar area is flanked by boothed seating complete with doors and windows - apparently this was for sultry business transactions to be agreed away from prying eyes in more reserved times! We went for a drink, stayed for a few. Atmosphere is great, was busy but not overbearingly so.

World class pub! Outstanding food, drinks, and service. All the staff is really friendly and helpful. The pub also has snugs- if youβre lucky enough to grab one, do it! I was in Belfast only a couple days but The Crown Liquor Saloon became my pub. Plus their food is outstanding! The steak pie, the tart, and the bangers & champ were all delicious. Thereβs a dining room upstairs if you canβt get a spot downstairs.

A very beautiful and popular historic pub. I especially liked the private snug room, which we had to book in advance for an extra Β£10 β but it was absolutely worth it. Itβs a great feeling to be in a lively pub yet still have your own quiet, private space. The food and drinks were very good. However, the service was not great β probably because there were too many guests and not enough staff that day.

If you're staying downtown in belfast, this must be somewhere you visit. The interior is recognized on the National Historic Trust of Ireland. Absolutely gorgeous and absolutely beautiful. It's like walking back in time. Had a great deal of fun here drinking cold beer and bantering with my fellow Travelers in my own private booth. We did not try the food here but others claim that it was mediocre. I know that the bartenders were not very friendly at first but warmed up to us after we bought our sixth round.

So I rather give them 3.7 stars, but have to round up. I came here for breakfast, but apparently it wasnβt an option although the website clearly shows it. And does not say itβs not available. Itβs hands down an absolutely beautiful pub. The staff seemed like they didnβt want to be there or help me, but thatβs just a personal opinion. The club sandwich was delicious. The chicken avocado was well put together. Unfortunately the chicken was very very bland. French fries were 100% perfect. I really wish I was able to get breakfast, but overall I like this place

Really enjoyed my meal here. The oysters were DELICIOUS. Not sure if they were really high quality or if the mignonette was just GREAT but they were delicious enough that I ordered extra. Really reasonably priced too!! I got the Irish stew also and it was delicious. I wanted to try the sticky toffee pudding but they were out :( I guess they make more for dinner? I was there for very late lunch. Service was very slow with a pretty empty dining room but the seats were comfortable enough that I didn't mind. Free wifi if you have o2 :)

Always try and visit here when in Belfast, great food, great atmosphere and great Guinness! I love the idea of the booths and such a good idea to book one of these for a meal if you have a small party or you're with family or friends. My Granny came here when she was married so it's a special place for her and us. Love it.

Went here for lunch. Lovely food with vegetarian option and reasonably priced. Not only are the food super tasty and fresh but the layout is beautiful too. I absolutely love the cheese cake I got. The interior is fantastic and brought you back in time the moment you stepped into this place. Naturally good for social distancing if your group can get into one of the boxes. The only sad thing about the place is that some previous visitors have let their own βmarksβ by carving into the beautiful wooden surface throughout the place.
