   Had my prev map done by a mobile tuner but it never felt right it would limp mode with a slight touch of the gas when started Gearbox felt wrong for a S tronic after having that mapped too it was just a very bad experience and the tuner ignored all calls after and concerns Found mmt online and thought they look like they know what they're doing Got the car back and WOW it feels just how I expected a stage 2 to respond Car is so responsive now and ready to pull when ever anyone thinks the car is just a sluggish family a7 (340+bhp) Hybrid turbo incoming next year and I will 100 percent be getting these guys to map it to its new bhp numbers

   AVOID AT ALL COSTS, if you care for your car!!!! My experience with MMT Performance at the DAS GTI show at Santa Pod was, frankly, unacceptable. I made a last-minute booking, but the level of communication, care, and professionalism I received was far below what I would expect from any reputable tuner. Despite clearly requesting burbles, they applied a pops and bangs map—something I never asked for. I was also told that I had apparently stated I had a downpipe, even though my car still retains both the OPF and the cat. This incorrect assumption, in my view, led to a completely unsuitable map being applied to the car. The power figures I was quoted on the day were also nowhere near accurate when compared with verified data I obtained afterwards. The worst part is the condition of the car following their work. The map they installed caused multiple severe issues: electrical faults, over-timing, and the engine actively detecting knock. I have data logs and figures that support this. Another tuner later confirmed that the map had to be fully removed because it was not safe or appropriate for the vehicle. When I raised these concerns with MMT Performance, the response I received was dismissive at best. My complaint felt brushed aside, and during a phone conversation with the owner, I personally found his attitude rude, defensive, and completely unhelpful. At no point did I feel there was any genuine willingness to address or even acknowledge the problems their work created. In my opinion, based on my direct experience, this company failed to deliver a safe, accurate, or professionally handled service. I ultimately had to pay another specialist to fix the issues caused. I would strongly urge others to be cautious and consider alternative tuners. UPDATE.. 30/11/25 through contacting MMT Preformace on instagram, asking about a refund due to the lack of care and professionalism taken when “remapping” a car, bare in mind they say they know this engine off by heart as it’s in there “race” car I have been blocked, I would seriously strongly advise anybody looking to use these guys to not even touch them, especially if you care for your car, they are rude, manipulative, and have no clue what they are doing! AVOID!

   Got my 120d remap here. Remap went easy and got told info to keep it running good. Been a couple weeks and the car is amazing. Total transformed the acceleration and the mpg is better than before despite driving less “eco”. Would recommend

   Not the best start place was shut when they told me to come at 9am, then due to my car being lowered i tore off my bumper on the poor entrance and lost half of my exhaust on the pot holes! Just to add to my frustration they kept my car for 3 days and did naff all saying they can't reset my ecu, asked another mapping company who charged me nearly half the price and did it straight away the same day! They also don't publish any bad reviews

   Had a remap with MMT (Clive) on an Audi and wife’s Mini 2.0SD. Wow, what a difference to both cars. Uses MMTs own map and spent ages setting it all up and tweaking. The setups are all within the safe parameters of the cars standard equipment, mostly just overriding factory restrictions. I was so impressed I recommend to all my friends and family and returned back for my new car and also auto gearbox remap. Nothing is too much trouble. 100% recommended
