I cannot recommend N P Byrne Garages highly enough. Driving up to Northumberland our car lost power steering on the motorway. We called garages in the locality and were extremely lucky that N P Byrne replied. Even though their garage was very busy with existing customers they agreed to see us. Within 30 minutes a new alternator belt was delivered and subsequently fitted, not only that but they offered to fit a new cam belt as they were concerned about its current state - what a relief as it was cracked and wouldn’t have lasted the trip to Northumberland. Their professionalism, willingness to help, value for money, expertise and can do attitude was second to none - they were cheerful and helpful and truly did go above and beyond. I only wish we lived closer as we would definable use them for all our motor requirements.

I have a 2010 bmw 1 series and the car had an intermittent fault where it would lose power, I'd been to another garage and spent quite a bit of money trying to solve the problem to no avail. Took it to np Byrne and I could tell from talking to Richard he knew what he was talking about, left it with him and he had it a day and fixed the fault. I've since taken it back for exhaust flexi, oil and filter and mot. Excellent professional service and I highly recommend, I won't be going anywhere else in the future
